Hi you are already pretty polarized before the river unless you are doing it with JJJ as well? i would be betting bigger on turn so he feels a little more committed when facing the river bet also if he does have a set you want to be charging him more.

i think calling flop, raising turn is waaaay better here!

at least for your whole range.

It allows you to float wider on the flop, furthermore you wont have many naked A combos when you flat a CO or otb imho.

Also your calling range becomes more protected.

As played i raise flop bigger and bet turn slightly bigger, vs. a reg i would always pot River as we are really polarized, vs fish it depends on his tendencies, when you think he calls down any flush vs any sizing go ahead and pot, otherwise i'd go for standard 2/3 pot.

Hi,

i always 3x flop here if i raise, so you can size bigger on future streets.

About the sizing it comes down to how much you size if you bluff and nothing alse. I'd make it 16 otf, 75% ott and bet big otr.

Skod

thanks for ure thoughts.

@skod: what do u think about suhepxm plan to call flop and raise turn?
i disagree with him in this point. okay we could mix it but my default line is raise flop to buid a pot because people are not so barrel happy ott when they get called otf. also for balancing

@Dylboid: yes i would raise also with JJ here.

Hi,

calling flop and raising turn is just another variation of the same play i'd say. I don't feel strongly either way, both plays have their merits.

Skod
