small MTT 44 runners with $1000 added value so standand bit more of a donkfest that normal for a $20 MTT

Ipoker $22.00 + $2.00 , 5000 chips starting stack , blinds 50/100

UTG (4360)
UTG+1 (5750)
MP1 (6890)
MP2 (1880)
CO (4920) HERO
BTN (4430)
SB (8130)
BB (2410)

HERO K :club: K

preflop (150)
2 fold , MP1 raise 300 , 1 fold , HERO raised 900 , BTN raised 4430 all-in , 1 fold , HERO ?

put the guy on range AK - Qs+ and thinking he must have As , know little about him apart from that he is Irish and they tend to be bit loose , poker crusher has him as Tight-Passive/Passive)

in these deepstack tourneys with almost 50BB , is it worth folding big hands like Ks Qs preflop to all-in but on this one and some on Stars they dont give you chance to play poker with pushing all-in with big stacks

I would never fold here. The only hand that beats you are aces, against all others hands your the favorite and you will get the money in favorite before the flop. If he has aces bad luck but shit happens.. If he doesn't have aces your in good shape to dubbel up en have a verry nice stack to play the tournament.

you should not fold kings.
often you are up against jacks, queens, Ak or AQs and thats good enough to take the risk he holds aces.

thanks , did call and was suprised to see him with AKo and board came 84447 so no help to him

was thinking if I had As in that position , would be looking for action and either flat call or min raise

am I the only one who thinks the preflop raise should be a little bit bigger here?

but on the question never ever ever fold KK in a tourney :)

Unknown is 3betting you with AQ+ TT+ (AJs+) here so I don't see why your putting so tight range on this unknown guy...

because he pushed to raise & reraise , you wont do it with Ts/Js & AQ and he knows he is going to get called anyway so has to have a good hand with 44BB to play with

true.
but most of the time he will hold jacks, queens, or AK
there are far more combinations available for hands you BEAT then for the ONE hand that beats you.
so if you fold here you will fold more often to a hand YOU dominate.
