Played WSOP Circuit Monster Stack last week. Flight A. 3 spots to the money. Sitting on 10 big blinds ($5K/$10K/$10K) and am in the big blind. There's a monster stack at the table jamming every hand right now. As often as not, he's turning over something decent, or two random cards. Look down at AcKc. It's just me and the monster stack. Do you fold and hope to squeak under the money wire, or jam?

Without knowing the stack dynamic and pay out structure it's hard to give good feedback on this hand.
In general if this isn't a satelite I would always call AKs with a 10bb stack.

with 10 BB if you fold, you'll be next on the button with 8.5 BB — loads of time for the shorter stacks to bust out.
If you jam and lose it is game over. If you jam and win, it changes nothing if this is a satellite.
If it is not a satellite, this is a much harder decision.
Even maniacs can get good hands. This just might be one of those times when it is best to fold AKs

Min cash in the first flight. $800. Double the buy-in. And maybe after cashing, I stick around for a better spot to jam (like a pocket pair), though AK suited is pretty sweet. I wound up jamming and losing. In hindsight, I'd fold that hand and hope for some other stacks to go busto. Then once we're ITM, go for the double up jam.

I don't think you can fold outside of satellite. At least it would require extremely high chance of cashing by folding. E.g. there being lot of extremely short stacks around. Even then I kinda doubt folding is option as in general in mtt we are not looking for min cashes but deep runs. Bubble of course matters but that has its own extent.
