Did I make a blunder here or was I just unlucky? Either way when he turned over his hand I couldn't believe it. 2nd player in chips risking his whole stack with bottom pair.
Here is how it went:
A loose aggressive player on the button tries to steal the blinds. I defend my BB.
Heads up OTF I flop top pair. I check he bets big with bottom pair. I min raise him. He calls.
On the turn the board pairs and pick up a flush draw along. I figured it was unlikely he would call my check raise on the flop with bottom pair so I lead. He shoves, I call and I end up from big to short stack at the final table :f_mad::f_mad::f_mad:
Considering ICM and everything what did I do wrong here?
It's a hand at Unibet so I can't put in a replayer so it's just txt format, sorry about that but here is the hand:

Shortly after this hand I was left with about 12 BB and decided to shove with ATs and got called by AKs so I went from big favorite to 6th place, such a bummer.
You could argue my defending range was a bit wide there but not defending is also a mistake.
I can't see not going broke in that spot when luck turns out like that. Apart from the fact that I was big stack and he was second in chips. It hurts to go out like this after 3 hours of full focus being so close to the big payouts.
Obviously against a short stack I would simply shove the flop but since we where both deep I played like I did. I don't feel like I made a blunder on the other hand as a big chip leader going out first is the worst possible scenario. Any thoughts?
