Last level of day 1 in a $1500 buy in tournament. Entries 212, remaining players 80. Hero is UTG with 70 bb and has A♥:K♥:. Hero opens with 2.5 bb. Player at cut off has 130 bb and 3 bets 6 bb. Player in SB has 20 bb and moved all in. Hero calls 20 bb. Cut off shoves.
Is it a call for Hero or Fold?
In the game Hero called and was busted.
CO had KK and SB had 77.

I have moved you're hand to our tournament hand discussion board. There fits it better.

I guess you you are still far away form ITM and I would 5bet shove allready to isolate the SB.
Without reads it will be hard not stacking of with A♥:K♥: for 70bb. As played I need really good reads on the CO to think of folding with in mind you are only in bad shape against KK+ and you block those hands.

Cheers,

Was it a bubble situation? (Day 2 being guaranteed itm)
When it is a bubble situation, AK can be a fold here after CO goes all-in.

As played, I thhink it would be better to iso raise all-in after the 20BB shove of the SB, since the CO 3bet has a wide range. (And SB range is very strong).

I would expect with 80 remaining and 212 entries in total that we aren't close to the bubble. Most of the time around 15% of the total field gets paid.

Hi,
Since the CO "spoke" first I would put him on a strong hand, and it is preflop I would have folded here, since AKs can be a worthless hand (or not as strong) after flop.
