Hey all, looking for some advice on this hand:

If I'm in the wrong thread etc please let me know, first post.

Stack: around 90,000 blinds 1500/3000 ante 400

I'm in Middle position folded to me with A10c and i raise to 8000.
Cutoff raises to 25000 and button calls as do I.
Flop comes 3c Ks 5c
I check to the pre flop raiser and he jams (he has both of us covered)
This is the hand before the rebut period is over, and I'm probably double average stack.
The button player calls and so do I
Im up against aces and jacks and I don't hit my flush.

Running the numbers I had about a 3.5-1 on my call with 34% three way.

Was this a good play? Winning this pot would make me the overwhelming chip leader with 2/3 remaining players.
Also to note: the player who jammed had be super aggressive with me on the last 2-3 hands.

Thanks,

First, I have moved your thread to the hand discussion forum, because it fits better there.
I expect you have A♣:T♣: here and I would fold on his 3bet, because you need almost invest 1/3 of your remaining stack and he can easy dominate you when you hit top pair.

As played I would go broke with the nut flush draw, but it’s nasty for sure with only a draw, but with those odds against 2 players it’s I think fine.

Don’t forget he can easy have 3 good hands in a row. So, that isn’t reliable read on him or you saw him playing weird starting hands as well.

Cheers,

As SDK said, folding pre wouldnt be a mistake.

As played you are getting a good price, so calling with the nut flush draw is fine :f_thumbsup:
