They/he/she got into my accounts on betfair and stars but the support at betfair and stars was fantastic they froze the accounts and all was ok in the end.
The only thing stars could do better is communication, they left me in limbo for a couple of days while they investigated.
wow, that would've freaked me out. i'm glad everything turned out ok. guess it's time to change those passwords! probably scan your computer too just in case. also luckily, you were able to notice right away! how?
I could not logon to stars and I got an email notification telling me I had a netteller transaction declined.
I have completely reloaded PC from scratch, after being on phone to stars they setup the account for a PIN and a new email address.
Then 15 mins later BOOM one of my drives on my pc fails and another reload is required.LOL
I do not think so!! in a state of panic and paranoia I had to reload system again.
I also had a problem in that the ISP was down for maintenance, got my password
mixed up or whatever in panic and could not reset it.
I was completely FREAKED OUT!!!!
Mrs 1790 was also a little bit concerned as she had ordered tickets and stuff online.
We have cancelled all cards etc.
Moneybookers security token on way.
Will as soon as I have enough points get stars token.
Although if downswing carries on I wont need one LOL

Hi since all of this has happened I notice that I'm not getting my SP.
I have clicked information sharing.
On my profile "Your account has been correctly tracked and you are receiving StrategyPoints." Well I am not getting them at the moment what do I need to do?

Hi Mark,
How long have you not been receiving your SPs for Mark? It may just be a delay in getting information from the Poker Room.

Please check that the 'Information Sharing' option is still enabled, as PokerStars software updates can sometimes disable the option.
If the info sharing has been deactivated you can re-enable it by clicking on; 'Requests' in the Stars software menu, then on 'Information Sharing'.

I have emailed Stars and the last reply on Thursday, was that they have forwarded my email
to their Affiliates Team, who will review my enquiry and respond as soon as possible.

I think Stars is a great site, but their support, as with my previous issue is a bit slow (but had a fantastic outcome). so we shall see how they shape up on this one.
I don't know why there is such a delay, as surely the flag is either set or not set in the software.
Might lose my gold status at this rate! or is this a cunning ploy to make me upgrade to HM2
before the 16th???
well, you are not gonna lose your status for the whole month you know. and also no points will be lost. they will just be delayed until the issue is solved. probably stars is checking whether you had previous accounts with them before. they are known to untrack players discovered as such. if that is your first stars account and registered via PokerStrategy.com, there is nothing to worry about. ♦
i'm using hem1, i just love it. i bought hem2 already but havent used it yet. having some separation anxiety
I have only opened the one account so there should not be any probs there. ♦
So as long as it gets sorted by the end of the month I should be OK.
Will they still give me my bonus points for each day etc?
I will prob still go for upgrade as I have been using HM2 for a while now.
They have introduced an option to be able to run both versions, I have not tried this
but it may make your seperation less painful.
