I'm looking to start using PokerStars Hotkeys and am curious what people have for set-ups?
I play SnG's, but the set-ups for any games would be appreciated.

Also if you could share any issues or recommendations based on your experiences, I would appreciate it.

I use 5 hotkeys and have found that they work best for me.
I also choose the keys that are very close to each other and make sense for my left hand.
They are
A - All in
F - Fold to any bet
S - Call
C - Check
V - Bet (if I choose a sizing) or Raise (pre flop is min raise)

As you see I use 2 columns of letters
Top column is for all in, fold and call!
Bottom column is for raise/bet or check.

I experimented before with different letters and lay outs but this one seems most natural to me and my left hand and fingers have gotten used to it for mass multi tabling.

Look forward hearing about your future lay out!

What I have right now is:

A = bet/raise
S = check/call
f = fold to any bet

The only negative thing I would say is sometimes you missclick. For example, If you want to bet, but you accidentally click on check.

I had this set-up going tonight:

Z = Fold
X = Check
C = Call
V = Bet 2.15x
B = Bet 3x
F = Bet 40%
G = Bet 55%

I really liked it at the start but I think for the next little while I am going to just use this set-up:

Z = Fold
X = Check
C = Call
and use the mouse for all Bets/Raises

:f_biggrin: - yes!!!

I just configure some default bet-sizes to save time when opening a pot, and then use the wheel to increase/decrease the bet amount in increments of small blinds when the situation calls for it.

can you use the arrows as the size choose (like the mouse wheel) like in william hill?

Hi jvivas1990,
Here is a screenshot showing the currently available actions:

It doesn't look like "raise bet amount" isn't in the list.

On checking I find that what you seek is already available

In Settings | Gameplay | Multi-Tabling
Click "Highlight bet amount"
Now, when you go to a table, the bet amount is blank, and you can raise and lower the bet amount with the up/down arrows.

Settings | Gameplay | Bet Slider
Set the increment to either Big Blind or Small Blind.
Now each press of an up or down arrow key will adjust the bet amount by the size you've chosen.
The right and left arrow keys permit finer editing.

Nifty -- I never knew this.

Cheers,
VS

You need starscaption for this.

I don't have starscaption, and it works as I described.

What does starscaption do differently?

Starscaption is program that helps handling multitabling on pokerstars. You can do many things with it, for example you can:
-manage tables placement
-use predefined bet sizings both pre and postflop(for example bet slider can be always set on 2.5bb from MP if you want)
-use more advanced hotkeys than in pokerstars
-get some additional informations in HUD over table like villains timings, positions of player in given hands, odds you get. You can also create more buttons with bet sizings than 4.

and many many more features.
