Hey LyToLV,

That's fine. I started out playing freerolls and tried to grind up small bankrolls until I felt my game was good enough to play real money.

I would suggest you check out Asaban's MTT Beginner Coaching: Discussion and feedback thread. There is a lot of good stuff for MTTs players.

For SnGs, check out any of CollinMoshman's videos. These cover all types of SnGs, so once you make up your mind what type of SnGs you are interested in, then there should be some nice videos there.

As far as books go, this can be difficult. There are a lot out there. Personally,I read "Harrington on Holdem" by Dan Harrington, "Kill Phil" and "Kill Everyone" by Blair Rodman, Lee Nelson and Steve Heston. Even though Harrington's book is a bit old and you couldn't get away with playing that tight these days, his explanation of how he puts people on ranges and narrows it down by street was eye-opening to me and got me thinking more about what my opponent might have and why he was taking the action that he was. I still also use Harrington's "M" formula to define when I enter push/fold stage or 3Bet shove.

You can check out our poker books section here.

Regards

Laz

Hello Mr Tendler, i m a huge fan of your work and i have a lot of respect of what U are doing to help the poker comunity!
My main question would be, beside a lot of others,:
Do you think is posible to burn out during you practice a certain sport? Ex basketball, soccer... Etc i mean in a daily practice, because u need a lot of focus and other skills that you are using at the poker table.
Thank you.
