I would if this guy doesn't respond soon, at the same time I don't to take away what he has started...But say if I'm not in any group by Friday I'll start on myself and hopefully it will be a good group with some quality poker talk and work.

People sometimes stop monitoring these threads when they have enough members in the group. So take the initiative and try to start your own group.
The "Learning to Win" board is a great place to start sweat groups for players at similar limits and formats so gogogogogo.
