I guess so. I am very nit-picky with stuff like this though. "If float turn, barrel river" is not the same as "If float bet turn, barrel river".
Sometimes the smallest details make a huge difference. Don't wanna trap myself.

Well ye you need to be the one taking the aggressive action on the turn ie float bet vs checks to be able to barrel the river if you haven't taken the aggressive action on the previous street your not barrelling

A float is when you call a bet, guessing that your villain will give up on the next street and check so that you may bet. This is for IP play, if not you would be probe betting.

Yes, and a a Float Bet is an IP bet when the pre-flop raiser checks instead of making a cbet.

Correct, my suggestion to you would be if they bet flop, then check turn and you bet they call, if they check river bet again. At least 1/2 pot ..... both streets, I suggest a little more on river
