Hi guys,

I am reading the article from Dara O'Kearney Who has more starting hands? and there is a following example:

For example on draw heavy two high card boards like Kc Qc 8h we often have a lot of weak one pair hands that can’t get three streets so we do a lot of checking on the flop.

What does the can’t get three streets part mean? That we cannot bet or call for all three streets?

Hi SamoB25,
It means "we cannot get 3 streets of value"
So we might bet the flop, and and worse will fold, better wont.
Same on the turn if we check the flop.

So we're only going to get value on one street (if we're lucky and don't get raised)

Cheers,
VS
