Any info on villain would be nice and your own though process.
That makes it easier to give good feedback. Especially if you want to start a advanced discussion.

Okay, I know you are not supposed to fold A9 here. Obviously, call down with TT.

But, I don't know about 88. It's close. If you are not comfortable just fold.

It's a very good TBAI on villain's part with his 3bet range, imo.

I would normally call on this river except...
:diamond:  an SB 3Bet range has a lot of Ax hands in it, and OOP they can exercise "the right of first bluff" so calling down seems fine ...
:diamond:  his aggression throughout has indicated that he has something better than Ax though
So without some prior knowledge of villain's behaviour, this has to be a fold OTR

I'm more interested in hearing what people have to say about flatting 3Bets with mid-sized pocket pairs.

This! For me it any easy fold with 88. Dont ask me about TT... since I wouldn't feel like call either(but this is to nitty)
Since there is no Flush on the board and u hold with 88 and even TT significant blockers for straights, I really think he has it!

I play'em like HHHuBi, but I start 4betting with TT some of the time and Villian depended even with 88.

Flat everytime, can mix in some 4bet/folds not more than 10% of the time.

I think if BTN has way more 9X in his range he can call 9X+, 77, 5X and fold everything else.
If he has limited amount of 9X in his range, then probably follow what itsnevereasy's ranges showed

im probably just folding 22-44, 66 and calling down 88, 77, 9X, 5X. people aren't double-barreling this coordinating turn light in my opinion which makes his 3-barrel range stronger
