Any info on villains and your own though process would help to give you good feedback.
Normal I would just fold the river, I doubt a random villain will over shove as bluff.

Cheers,

Pre-flop raise to 1.25 (4 x vs BTN + 1x due to small blind call, OOP we should raise one multiplier more than in IP)

I'd block bet river. You still want value from his pocket pair range which would likely check behind. If he shoves can fold.

As played it's tough, but am leaning to a fold.

when you call river, what do you expect to see? the fact that completed is very bad.

checkcall is a really bad line

you allow him to check back worse and bet better. He shouldn't have any air hands on this runout so bluffcatching lines make no sense

it's better to either check/fold (if you think you no longer have value) or set the betting price yourself (with a 1/3-1/2 pot bet) and extract value from TT 99 77

I agree with the larger pre-flop squeeze size

What are your thoughts on checking the turn?
or even checking the flop?

this! ... I would not feel comfi playing a big pot with JJ here, so Check OTT would be the line for me.

We must bet the turn in this spot, if we check that should be done to do a x/p line, and extract one street bluffs from his floats, also deny equity of backdoor flushes.

This is among the best boards you can get with JJ in this spot (ofc, except those where you hit a J), so flop and turn bet is mandatory.

On the river I like the 2.5$ blockbet as well, if we check it should be a x/f.
