What is the Power-Equilab?

The Power-Equilab is an advanced equity calculator which was built by the same developer of the famous PokerStrategy.com Equilab. It tries to combine the best features of other common equity- and analyzing tools on the market in one application.

I have a funny question. The tool is very useful and justifies its name Power. What can you say about Equilab Omaha?
Will you develop it up to Power Equilab Omaha?

This is the support thread for the Power-Equilab, not for the PokerStrategy.com-Equilab.

Hi Lincson,

for unknown reasons sometimes the desktop icon did not appear.
The Power-Equilab is installed in: "c:\Program Files (x86)\Power-Equilab"
You can start the Power-Equilab directly with: "c:\Program Files (x86)\Power-Equilab\Power-Equilab.exe"

best regards, nopi

I've been using this software extensively and I love it. It's my favorite poker software and I have CREV, GTO+, Flopzilla, etc. A few things that need to go on a wish list:

1) Let us import hands for analysis.
2) Incorporate some kind of GTO solver into the program.
3) Allow us to post and share different ranges and custom weights to ranges, etc.

All in all though, this is already the best total package software out there. Unless you want to get into GTO analysis and that's why I recommend incorporating one into PE. It's the only thing it can't do right now.

Is it possible to export and import not only ranges but their corresponding notes too?

These are also two things that would be very nice additions (if they're not already in there )

Just came across a pretty major bug: When loading PE files that contain ranges with weighting, PE stops responding and crashes during evaluation. Please fix asap.

Any update on any of this?

Another thing that we need to be able to do is compare range v range and hand v range without entering in a flop. We can do this on Flopzilla and not here with PE. Ideally, we shouldn't have to run the two programs side by side.

Just use [File / Import hand history]

thought about that ... but the next "big thing" will be some smart kind of EV-calculation.

What exactly do you mean by "compare" ? ... You can open multiple handrange-windows.

... or do you mean this feature: http://www.power-equilab.com/Manual/Manual.htm#_Toc478638142 ?

Ok, I'll go ahead and send the support team a weighted file and see what happens.

Alright, fair enough. I forget about the Flop Hand Strength Distribution. What I'm asking for in addition to this really is just splitting hairs.
