Essentially, you get 5.5 VPPs for every $1 worth of rake you spend on tournaments. So for every $10+$1 tournament you play, you get 5.5 VPPs and for every $1+$0.10 tournament you play 0.55 VPPs.
The amount of VPPs you earn at cash tables is always different, and is based on the amount of seats taken, stakes, currency, etc. I recommend you take a look at the page I mentioned above to get to know exactly how many VPPs you earn.

What about PT4's Rake Attributed, and Contributed stats. Are they accurate?
Unfortunately I don't really know... But I would assume they are. I don't see why PT would provide you with inaccurate/incorrect data.

Yes, they are.
I even notice someone using Stars VPP stats on PT. But I dont sure. (Maybe HEM?)
