As title says, the software goes into not-responding mode when I click on "get hands while playing" 
pt4 v4.06, the rest of the software works fine -other import options included.

Not responding usually means the PostgreSQL server is busy working. Often this is due to some serious number crunching while importing a tournament summary, sometimes it is because you have an abundance of hand histories that are waiting to be imported.
Restart your computer, then open PT4 alone - do not open your poker room's client. Click Tools > Setup Assistant, then click Configure Sites. Run through the setup process, then PokerTracker 4 will import any hands found in the poker room's hand history folder. if you found that PT4 needed to import hands, then you have probably solved your problem. If not, then I sugest you reproduce the problem then create a support tickat at pokertracker.com with your pokertracker4.log file attached
