You will be playing PLO10k in no time with that skillset.

You say it is harder to prove.

I suppose you are gonna tell me that showing someone :

http://www.pokertableratings.com/top-omaha-winners-year/top_winners.php?site=&game=Omaha&structure=&stakes=&timeframe=alltime&search.x=41&search.y=16&search=Search

is not gonna be proof enough.

There are people there with over 2.5million winnings over large samples.
I think that is enough proof...

You sound like you're trying to convince me. I know it's a skill game. It's not me that needs convincing it's the authorities who already demonise holdem and poker in general and gambling all as the same (in their opinion) vice. It is a cast iron mathematical fact that there is more variance in PLO, therefore more opportunities for average players to win and profitable players to lose, and it is this variance that NON POKER PLAYERS see as gambling.

Do you know of any players who've seen big consistent profits in holdem? Yes, thousands of people. Is it still demonised by the American authorities and heavily restricted? Yes! Are the very factors that make that possible more prevalent in PLO? Yes. QED.

I think perhaps you entirely missed my point.

Stop looking for the easy money.

Get better at the game, study hard and improve. Be the best regular at the stakes.

Then you suddenly realise there are fish EVERYWHERE.

They are also known as the regs :)
