Yeah it looks like he's called with AQ to me, poss KQ with he's better position. You're definitely right to fold here IMO.

I think I would have played it slightly differently. When I've got a really bad position with an easily dominated hand like JJ I would definitely just call, hoping to see the flop as cheaply as possible. Then make a decision on the flop wether to continue and invest more chips. With JJ UTG you're really better playing it like any other small pair, the risk of an over card is too great especially this early in a tourny.

I think the raise pre flop is fine.I check/call this flop as you still have showdown value/pot control This way if the flush hits easy check/fold or bet/fold and Qx may check behind. cheap showdown and you can still improve on the turn and river.

or if you cbet the flop more like 180.

As played I find a fold here.

Raise preflop, but I would use 3bb open raise. Anyway no point to go over 4bb. Cbet-fold is good in flop and I like size as well.

+1 Once again, good respond by ghaleon. What's up with this sizing? You have hard time playing TT-JJ/AK OOP, so you wanna discourage action and yet your hand is too good to limp or fold preflop? This is super exploitable as your competent opponents will pick a read on you sooner or later. I doubt you use that sizing with AA-QQ as you want to get some action. Also, when making it 5x utg, you make it really hard for worse hands to call you- like lower mid pockets. I will stick to 3x-4x on the first blind level. Also, don't use different sizing depending on your hand. Maybe 4x on the bt20 lvl from EP as people are way too loose passive on these limits and often we end up playing multiway pot, which is not good even if we hold AA. 3x from late position is better.

As for flop- bet/fold seems good to me. Good sizing. I don't discount AQ/KQ and sets from his range. Flop is super wet, he wants to protect + people don't raise draws IP that often (usually call them) + even if they do, they usually make it bigger, not a min re-raise like his.
