Hello! as I posted recently in this thread I was feeling sick. I had a bad fever, stomach pain, headaches, loss of appetite and a temperature alternating between high and low like fucking mad. However I woke up this morning at about 5.05am and I thought to myself "Oh I must be better! I woke up so early because I spent all day yesterday relaxing and I slept well now!" So, eager to start the day I started making my way towards the bathroom where all of a sudden I became very light-headed and grabbed hold of a piece of furniture to maintain balance. I thought this was because I stood up from my bed too quickly so after a few seconds I tried to walk again. It happened again and again however, and everytime I grabbed onto something until I somehow lost consciousness, fell and hit the back of my head against the wall.
As I laid there motionless for a while, a faint thought out of nowhere said that if I stay here it will be very, very bad. My eyes opened wide, I collected all the strength I could and hurried towards my parents' bedroom where I collapsed on their bed. They took care of the rest.
So we spent all day at the hospital and it turns out that some crappy virus caused my blood pressure to diminish which equals losing balance and/or losing consciousness. Had I not listened to the thought that woke me up, my blood pressure would have continued to decrease while depriving my brain of enough oxygen and blood! Scary shit!
I feel ok now after some treatments. Just a bit shocked. And tired.
Oh how fragile our lives are.
