If there is a close spot maths wise such as is the ev of doing something profitable then its probably not worth studying to be honest. As long as you can use it to your advantage in the long term and adjust accordingly to game flow and understanding of your perceived image then its fine. Spending time really going into super fine points is generally going to be a "leak" as long as you know roughly the EV of a play INCLUDING implied EV for future hands vs villain then its fine.
