[Closed] NL10 SSS: calling minbet twice with OESD?

0,05/0,10 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.9 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6♣, 4♠
4 folds, CO calls, BU folds, SB calls, Hero checks.

Flop: (7,00 SB) 3♦, 5♥, 8♣ (3 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, CO calls.

Turn: (6,50 BB) 8♠ (3 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, CO calls.

River: (9,50 BB) 7♠ (3 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, CO folds, SB calls.

Final Pot: 22,00 BB

Results follow (highlight to see):
SB shows [ Ah, 8d ] three of a kind, Eights
Hero shows [ 6c, 4s ] a straight, Eight high
Hero wins the pot ($3.15) with a straight, Eight high.

I have the feeling I didn't play this hand exactly by the book. But if I didn't hit the lucky river it would cost me only 2BB, hmm. If I pushed with a draw on the flop and didn't hit the river it would be much more costly. So did I play it well or not? and why

Despite the fact, that you posted that hand in the wrong forum section (this is the NL SSS forum), I can help you here.

On the flop you have 8 clean Outs for the straight and you are IP, so I would prefer to raise here, to get a freecard on the Turn, since your Opponent will very often just call your raise and check the Turn.
This way you see 2 cards to hit your draw for one small bet.

oh, now I see that the Texas Grab'em grabbed the hand as Fixed limit, which is strange, because it was NL and I'm 100 pctly sure of that :-D. Sorry 'bout that.
