CO: t2129 M = 2.75
BTN: t4415 M = 5.70
SB: t2595 M = 3.35
BB: t5168 M = 6.67
UTG: t6572 M = 8.48
Hero (UTG+1): t5394 M = 6.96

Pre Flop: (t775) Hero is UTG+1 with A  Q :diamond:
UTG raises to t1200, Hero raises to t5369 all in, 5 folds, UTG calls t4169

Flop: (t11513) Q :club: 9 :club: 2 :spade: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Turn: (t11513) T :club: (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: (t11513) 5 :club: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Is it ever ok to flat call here and re-evaluate the flop? Even if i fold it leaves me with 10bb stack which is ok.

His range for 3x UTG this late on is pretty damn tight and i don't think i am ever being called by worse.

Imo fllating is bad, why would you want to invest 1/5 of your stack and just fold every time you miss flop, you can fold only if he is real nit or good regular, vs unknowns i think i still go with push.

I don't think flatting is bad to be honest. 45s are a lot about survival so losing 1/5 of my stack is not a problem, especially as there are still much shorter stacks left in the tourney. I am also in position which makes my flop decision much much easier. As it turns out he had AK so whether he would have check folded on the flop or not, i dunno.

Shove is good here IMO. AQ is a good resteal hand and if he has a monster here, that's unlucky. But a lot of times you are ahead. And when you are not, just flop a Q and you will be fine ;)
