Hm, I think there's probably enough weaker hands than yours that he may play this way that you could consider a call. He may have a K or pocket pair to give him a full house. It's also very likely he has an A like you say.

I would probably have considered making the bet slightly larger on the river (100-150) as I think he's going to see the block bet as a clear sign that you don't have quads and therefore try to bully you out of the hand.

It depends how many kings and how many 9's he does this with, also the top end of his range could be there too since like I said we have 0 reads, I think its a fold, if we had him covered then i would lean towards a call.

Yeah that probably makes sense. It's probably not worth the risk at such an early stage in the tournament, especially as you hadn't put that much into the pot previously.

He calls the flop and checks behind on the turn which is such a weak line. Combine that with the fact that he raises you massively on the river and we have a line from the villain that is not very strong at all. Sometimes he will have the 9 of course, but most of the time he will have a weak ace that he doesn't feel is strong enough to bet the turn (even after you checked to him!), a decent king, or he's turning his failed flush draw/bad call on the flop, into some kind of terrible bluff. He limps CO so he's very unlikely to be slow playing AA or KK.

Even if you give him the range you have and give him zero credit for a bluff, you nearly have enough equity to call. You need 44% equity to break even in chips, and add the 4.8% risk premium for 9 players with equal chip stacks and you need only 48.8% equity to call here!

I`ve been thinking what to write here for like 20 minutes. It really looks like 9x hand to me considering hes fishy play until river. I want to call here because you beat so many hands like Kx , missed flushes or straights. On the other hand I want to fold here, because risking all your SNG game so early against that possible 9 in his hand hoping you will see a bluff or something like Kx without any reads on that player is just nuts.

Play it simple and aggressive, it's only micros. Imo, pre and flop looks good, but i am def betting turn and b/c river. In his spot i am always jaming river, because there is players who fold 2nd nuts, and from his view his push is def +ev if you play your hand this passive.

I would play your hand the same preflop flop and turn! On the river I like betting 140 and folding to an all-in. I think his range is Ax or 9x on the river, and I believe with ICM tax, it needs to be roughly 80% of the time he has Ax for us to call.
