1 : 3 were pot commited and have chips to spare. Only ever make these folds if you lose fold equity/ fall under 10bb. You need about 33% equity so maybe your not pot commited but having a chip lead is +ev

I think you can make a case either way here. You could argue that villain has just seen you win with KK so is shoving really strong or that he now thinks you are stealing.
I probably call on the basis that its kno, late stages and to let others know that you are not raise/folding easily.

The only person you should ever consider folding to here is BB. If you are wanting to rai/fold a hand with these stacks then you shouldn't be raising in the first place.

yea agree
but the thing is...
Q#1 should we open this hand cos obv we need to call stacks behind?
Q#2 the thing that we discus a lot... if they knew that we r never r/f in this spot they should be shoving tighter (i guess ?( ) so we r not getting right odds to call off (isnt this situation same/similar like spots we r bluffing/stealing someone 3bets us AI and we r convincing our selfs that we got to call cos of pot odds)?

Hand 0: 65.542% 64.67% 00.88% 531500832 7195968.00 { 66+, ATs+, KJs+, AJo+, KJo+ }
Hand 1: 34.458% 33.58% 00.88% 276013152 7195968.00 { K9s }

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 66.007% 65.40% 00.61% 438982924 4069814.00 { 77+, AJs+, KQs, AJo+, KQo }
Hand 1: 33.993% 33.39% 00.61% 224100616 4069814.00 { K9s }

We actually need ~35% eq so actually the call is -EV vs these ranges though I would much more expect them to be 3betting something like 55+,ATs+,KJs+,AJo+,KQo where we do get the required eq. Even then though we are like breakeven which I don't like which is why i think open folding is better.

And it's not like we can say oh we are raising to steal blinds because since they have wideish 3betting ranges our steal attempt is making us perhaps 0.5bb each time we do it, hardly worth it if you consider it really. So tbh the only time I will widen my range to hands which I don't mind to r/f is if BB is a (big) fish.

Hi all,

We have a breakeven call against one person, so sometimes we get put in a marginal situation. This doesn't mean that the raise preflop is unprofitable. In fact I would imagine this is a very very profitable raise given how often our opponents fold/our king blocker/the fact that our hand can call still an all-in from shortstacks.
