Hello guys, welcome to my blog

My name is Martin and I am 21 years old. I live in Denmark, in a city called Odense. I been a member of ps.com for some time, but have never really been active in the forum. But thats gonna change now with this blog :)

:club: My poker history :club:

I used to be be a big fish, loosing a lot of money :( Back then i loved the hypers SnGs so played them a lot. But eventually I tired of loosing and decided to quit poker for a while. After about a half a year of break I felt like playing again. Since I didn't have any money to spare at the time, I found this site giving away free 50 dollars. I knew that if I lost the 50 dollars I could not play for while again, so i decided to read some articles and watch some videos. After this I started playing some 1 dollars SnGs on Party. It went well and moved up to the 3 $ and then the 6$ with proper brm. Then I moved my money to stars and got to the 16$ SnGs. I then began to play some cashgame, which i broke even in over a good amount of time. Then around about a half year ago i started to play some low stakes MTTs. I have been playing mtt since and is now playing midstakes with some shots at high stakes

 Graphs

From my play over the last half year. Graph is missing my biggest cash of 40.000$ from a runner up in the scoop.

:diamond: Goals :spade:

( ) get 120.000$ in my bankroll by August 20th (currently got 75.000$)
( ) Put in 900 tours a month
( ) Update blog every day
( ) start in a fitness center

Here we go.. gl all

One of the most interesting hands from yesterday :f_p:

Thanks to you both :f_biggrin:

I have been chiiling with a friend today, so no grinding.

I busted pretty early in all of the SCOOP events eysterday, but shipped a 33 cuped for 6900$ _cool:, which made it a pretty good day.

Here is a couple of interesting spots from the final table

Guy in the small blind is running over the table raising in lot of spots

PokerStars Hand #80758694013: Tournament #559264799, $30+$3 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level XXXIV (12500/25000) - 2012/05/20 23:49:30 CET [2012/05/20 17:49:30 ET]
Table '559264799 40' 9-max Seat #8 is the button
Seat 4: KortKongen (668814 in chips)
Seat 5: flo-sch99 (436094 in chips)
Seat 6: misty my dog (154952 in chips)
Seat 8: danutpeddler (596733 in chips)
Seat 9: meteze (1791407 in chips)
KortKongen: posts the ante 3125
flo-sch99: posts the ante 3125
misty my dog: posts the ante 3125
danutpeddler: posts the ante 3125
meteze: posts the ante 3125
meteze: posts small blind 12500
KortKongen: posts big blind 25000
HOLE CARDS
Dealt to KortKongen [J :spade: K :spade:]
flo-sch99: folds
misty my dog: folds
danutpeddler: raises 25000 to 50000
meteze: raises 72873 to 122873
KortKongen: raises 542816 to 665689 and is all-in

Here I fell like he has a very narrow value range for betting the turn.
(my third 3 bet heads up and had been 4 betting the two first, so don't his preflop range is very strong either)

PokerStars Hand #80760369083: Tournament #559264799, $30+$3 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level XXXVI (17500/35000) - 2012/05/21 0:22:56 CET [2012/05/20 18:22:56 ET]
Table '559264799 40' 9-max Seat #9 is the button
Seat 4: KortKongen (2096203 in chips)
Seat 9: meteze (1551797 in chips)
KortKongen: posts the ante 4375

HOLE CARDS
Dealt to KortKongen [K :diamond: 4 ]
meteze: raises 35000 to 70000
KortKongen: raises 106552 to 176552
meteze: calls 106552
FLOP [6 :spade: 8 :club: 3 :spade:]

meteze: calls 132275
TURN [6 :club: 8 :club: 3 :spade:] [A :diamond:]
KortKongen: checks
meteze: bets 281881
KortKongen: raises 1501120 to 1783001 and is all-in

Any thoughts on the hands are very welcome :)

Still playing two tourneys ( hot and big 55 ) and i am debating if i should start some more up or just close down early today :f_confused:

You need to add two letters in front of my name and think of the most brightly coloured avatar, that would be me.

But I haven't been around in MTTs for so long, so it's possible you don't recognize me ;)

Has not updated the blog the last couple of days, because I has been home visiting my parents :) But is going back to Odense today.

Ended number 7 in the live tour i played last Friday =).. out of 23

After the tourney me and a friend fired up cash game rockets. So after some 50$ deposits and some vine we could pull out 1000$ :f_biggrin:

Probably going to play a 200$ tourney Thursday, where they expect about 400 runners, so should be great. Gonna stake a friend in that tourney too. Hopefully we both gonna run good :f_p:

Besides that am i looking forward to following the WSOP.

Ended up not playing the 200$ live tour anyways, because both of my friends were going to work, and I were not motivated to go myself..

So decided to grind instead. Ended up shipping the Big 55 for 19.000$. So pretty lucky i didn't go play that live tourney _love:

The victory actually meant that i ended second on the MTT Leaderboard on stars for 3000$

That were a great ending to my best poker month ever :f_biggrin:

Were to a bachelor party yesterday :) so got a bit hangovers today :P but still gonna grind some tours.

It is only sunday once a week
