PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (5 handed) by Hand Converter CG

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8♠, K♠.
UTG calls, MP folds, Hero raises, SB folds, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 8♦, 9♣, 9♦ (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets, Hero calls, BB folds.

Turn: (4.25 BB) 5♣ (2 players)
UTG bets, Hero calls.

River: (6.25 BB) 8♣ (2 players)
UTG bets, Hero raises, UTG 3-bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 12.25 BB
Main Pot: 12.25 BB, between UTG and Hero.

My opponent was stupid, but Lizardy was more stupid.
I raised, because i thought, that he would pay me off with a worse hand.
I think this was the month's biggest mistake from me.

I fold this preflop without stats, dont think K8s is good enough.

I think it is well played postflop, he keeps on betting so it's not like he has to have a 9 here. He will also call a flush or a straight after your raise so you have to raise.

Yes, usually I try to isolate one limper KTs+ maybe K9s+, but this player was extreme loose/passive stupid and he almost always paid me off when I had at least one good pair.

If he's extremely loose/passive it's a good isoraise :)

The preflop play should be fine. No good player limps firstin so he can't be a TAG or so. If he has 30/20 or 40/10 (or worse) stats then a raise is good. Even if he has 20/10 or 25/15 it's not the worst mistake (K9s is the lowest for that).

I don't like the flopcall. Isolate yourself with him and raise on the flop.
Rest is fine.

Villain (only 25 hands): 64/12
Very small sample size, but he played a lot of trash preflop and went to SD with very weak hands.
