why not stake someone for a month at NL100 and get a probable 50% return on your money?
OK guys. After much internal and external deliberation, I have come to a decision.
I am going to donate $500 to our university's PETA arm.
I will buy $200 of acid (thats around 75 tabs here in Aus ♦)
The rest I will spend on the ANZPT Queenstown event ($3K buy-in + expenses). For all my buddies from across the ditch look out for a lanky, long-haired guy with an attractive face. (+hopefully flanked by lots of hot guys and girls)
Thanks for the advice guys.
@evertonroar: I guess I couldn't expect any better advice from the blue side of Merseyside

I considered for a while. But with tomatoes at McDonalds customers and employees.
I also considered buying 20 cows and putting them on the top floor of the McDonalds headquarters. Then I realised I would probably be fired.

75 tabs for $200?!?!?! or is this a typo? da fuk yo, i've never seen them for less than $30 a pop in NZ
new plan should be spend 5k on tabs in aus and bring em here make some profits and play the ANZPT with that.
then go home and flip for the 20k you got left over.
Queenstown's a good choice, it's a mean town for a holiday

I don't have a consistent income. I get paid nothing from my role at the USSC - only from media appearances, journal articles and book releases.Your claims about PETA are ridiculous. You seem to be quite skilled at making wild unsubstantiated accusations.
Firstly, that wasn't done by PETA - we are explicitly against violence against ANY living creature. It was most probably done by a renegade group. If it did happen, injuring 3 scientists in order to stop the abuse of millions of animals every year internationally is clearly justified from a utilitarian perspective. It reduces pain and suffering for millions of creatures for the pain of 3 scientists (a net beneficial impact!).
why not just kill one scientist to save 1,000,000 animals? or 10 scientists.. why not 100, or 1,000? dipshit
Go to the high stakes roulette table. Put $100 on every spot except 0. You'll win $100 every time. Leave when you're up $600. Repeat for a couple days. Flip the $1200 on black. Repeat if you lose. When up $2400, double it on blackjack. When at $4800, give $100 bills to random people on the street. With the original $5000, fly to vegas, play NL1000 live, crush the limit. REPEAT UNTIL YOU HAVE AN AUDI A8
EDIT: I didn't see that you made up your mind lawl
Haha $30? I buy from a friend who usually charges $10 a tab - less because of friendship and bulk. In the US it is around 5/6.
I figured Queenstown would also have great hiking/bungee jumps. Should be a good holiday.

This makes no sense.

Very good decision IMO, Queenstown is such a nice city.
Will see you at the ANZPT event if I can somehow manage to freeroll my way in lol (three stages of freeroll satellites each with progressively less advancing seats offered, popsicles chance in hell)

It's all relative bruv. What's the value of the individual animal by it's affect on the world and it's numbers? For example, one Snow Leopard is worth twenty Cosmetic Scientists. Whereas a Dung Beetle is worth 6.7333 Robbie Williams'.
Swordfish philosophy asks the would you kill all the bunnies to cure cancer? Bunny cancer too...cruel irony.
Great plan for the money btw. Sounds like great fun and much more sensible.
They made a study on multimillion lottery winners. I think the figure was, after 2 years, 80% of them have LESS money than they did before winning.
