indeed i'm having best of luck. today i played horribly, but graph is soooo ++ above EV that it's not even funny
the good thing about this is that at least i most likely won't have to worry about moving down for a looooooong while. that was all i wanted for this month, to move up to nl25 and get comfortably rolled for it.

that said, i'm not going to move up to nl50 for a good while. first going to at least get a really massive roll, complete leakfinder, one more hour of coaching and then reevaluate from there.

i feel ALIVE! no, seriously.
when you win every single damn session it just REALLY doesn't feel right, feels more like you're in some drug-induced happiness state.

that's not to say that i want a downer, but a (preferably small) losing session every once in a while is a nice refresher.

yeah, it feels good both ways. of course it feels much better when you're in a downer and hit a little winning session, but being in a heater and hitting a little losing session also feels good in a way that is hard to explain.

actually since you mentioned it i'll just go in a roll and say it to all readers - really, seriously, if you have what you perceive to be the nuts against your opponent's range, just overbet shove the river. it will do WONDERS for your winrate.

beautifully summed up but any beginners reading this, make sure you are very sure of what your opponent could have on the river. like if the flush draw completed for yourself, A high, but theres also a straight draw availible too, as well as a full house, dont just go overshoving rivers. make sure you have your opponent near the top of their range, but you are easily beating it for this to work. they also have to be stupid enough to make these types of calls. am i correct in saying this?

well yeah, pretty much.
note that i said "if you have what you perceive to be the nuts against your opponent's range" - getting that perception correctly can be hard

if you're not sure, just keep your overshoving to when you actually have the pure nuts. but sometimes even top two pair may be enough already.
still in general a really good spot is when you have a FH and some draws complete.

Another is when the flop brings 3 of 1 kind and you have quads or AA KK. overshoving river after betting all the streets and the fish might even instacall withh 55-QQ

I just remembered the old strategy of overbetting the nuts on the river.

It worked in a recent hand where I had the nut straight (only needed a Q to have it) and he had 2 pair of KJ. He used his whole time bank and called so I obviously knew I had him beat.

i may write a post on that sometime.

My humble opinion:

You are doing fucking great! Why should you care about volume when your profit is clearly better than the rakeback you will get with gold star? Eventually as you rise up in limits the vip statuses will come, but with that winrate you don't need to add volume (and maybe lower the quality of the game) just to get that status.

well yeah, you have a point.
the truth though is that i want goldstar... just because. i don't give a damn about rakeback (yet).

that said, i think that my b-game is at least breakeven. and even if it isn't, rakeback will make it so ♦
