Pretty funny how peoepl can complain when getting FREE money.

If you think its too little then deposit yourself... Easy.

they are not complaining about free money , they are juste saying that they are better offers elsewhere. And the 10$ doesn't match for the taffers cuz it will be difficult to make 100SP with it.

Wow, lots going on such in a short matter of time. I recently came back on-line and started playing on-line poker again. I've been using whats left of my "chump" change on various poker sites. I then read through some of the forums people were getting a second or even a third crack at the $50 Free BR. I was blown away by this and thought why not ask and PS granted me another chance at a starting a BR of $50.

With the second chance that I received came some stipulations. PS offered $50 in the form of 5x$10 ea. week. I thought that this was definitely going to be challenging giving my previous history with BRM BUT... I was and am determined to make this last. Week after week, I fulfilled the requirements needed to unlock the following weeks $10 and at the end of August I have the full $50.

August has been a long and trying period for myself, but I've managed to follow the SSS/MSS guidelines and looking back on my graphs sure I've had some rough spots but with consistant tight play and playing in accordance to the set strategies I've been able to grow my BR by $35+ dollars. It doesn't seem much for most, but for someone who gets in 2-3hrs maybe a little longer during weekends I've manage to hit a few goals such as reaching and exceeding over 10K hands (for some reason I didn't think this was possible for me, but currently sitting just under 20K at the end of August)

Anyhow, guess what I'm saying is... I believe this system to work if the player is disciplined and does their home work and WANT to become a better player rather then trying their luck and blowing the starting capital in one sitting. I believe the 5x$10 is a good incentive and restricting them to the micro tables (which sucks believe me, but again being disciplined and following the charts that are by my side consistently) one can make it work.

Good luck to everyone starting out or about too. I wish PS the best of luck and will continue to recommend this site as it's been very informative and useful to myself. Lets hope everyone can come to some sort of agreement and we can continue to watch the site and the community of players grow. It's been very beneficial to those positing in the forums. I think it would be a very good idea to integrate the free bankroll with the NL BSS Beginner course.

@ nikola1109 - I am sorry that you feel this change is so negative. I am sure you will appreciate that we didn't take this decision lightly and that we did it because we think it will improve the current status, including conversion for our TaFers.

@ sausage646 - we have tried other bankroll options like the $10+$10+$10.. or $20+$30 etc, but decided that these were too complicated/ mislead people and concluded that the straight forward option of free$10 was the optimal figure. re the picture, I was going to say we are not a sinking ship, but that would imply the latter so ♦

@ jaggedlink - the minimum of $50 for withdrawal from our TaF system has not changed, so you would need at least 2 successful (reached 100sp) referrals in order to withdraw.

@ Jadocky - yes it will be hard to get 100sp with only $10, but previously many of the players that reached 100sp also deposited their own money. In addition - we have other unique selling points for players like our articles, videos, news, VIP services etc- all of these ensure that we keep our our players long term so they are more likely to reach 100sps and more.

@ metza - that's a good suggestion - the course is open to all of our users but not advertised enough, this is something that we are looking at improving too.

Changes are already being applied, however this is done gradually and expect for this to be completed over the course of the month.

As we may have mentioned, banners are currently being updated and the new design will change on both our site and other sites where they are being used.

Having joined before the changes passed the quiz etc. I expected much more from Poker Strategy. A total waste of time. Problems with Party Poker etc etc. I suggest that PS get their act together very quickly and also stop advertising on the poker channel.

For most communities it will not be necessary (we will use other methods to detect fraud), but some will still be required to provide a photocopy of their ID.

maybe other player go to other competitor of pokerstrategy which they offer still 50 dollars...

I think you actually get way more people putting the effort to get 50$ then 10$. And i doubt they will be willing to play tens of hours for the 10 bucks with seriosity.

But if you lose money going with the 50$, then there is nothing to be said. 50$ times the million players you say you funded is a rather large amount.
