hi guys,
villain 38 hands 8/0 - AFq 33 - 3B 0 - filtered 7-10, unknown
villain 58 hands 52/14 - AFq 46 - 3B 0 - filtered HU

this is the 2nd hand of HU, no reads/stats ingame except in the 1st hand villain shoved 55bb eff over my BU limp

preflop: im not sure whether to raise/go broke with A6o in this spot, it's so early in HU and we're so deep, also villain could flat my raise and then im OOP in a raised pot with weak Axo

flop: bet/go broke

any feedback appreciated thx

Hello RobertAdams,

Preflop:

Raise. Our hand is too good just to check it. Of course if villain pushes we can't call. A6o is just too weak, it is too big gamble for such a big stack. Even vs very wide range A6o for 80BB is too much.

Flop:

I like your lead on this wet board. Size is OK. Check/raise is also OK because villain have rarely stronger ace here. We are behind only against 33, A3 and K3 I would stack of on this wet board.

Best regards,
Antoan

It's more 53BB than 80BB.

Hello,

Yes, the effective stack is ~53BB. With so many blinds I would stack of here with range similar to this one - 77+,AJs+,AQo+. If villain is playing pretty loose on HU but he is not raising a lot (for 60 hands 50/14 is a tight raising range on HU). He pushed only one hand, this doesn't mean anything.
Against loose player who is pushing often I would call with something like 8.5%: 66+,ATs+,AJo+,KQs.

Best regards,
Antoan
