Hey guys. Here is a little background info about me and what i'm hopping to achieve with poker. I'm 20 years old and have just finished my first year of university. However I've decided to postpone my degree for a year as I'm not really sure that's what I want to do for the rest of my life and would really like some more life experiences before completing a hard 5 year course. Enter poker
I first started playing 2 years ago with 10$ and being a luckbox I didnt go busto.
Currently i'm playing nl SH 20 and taking shots at nl50. For previous 2 months I've been playing on average 2-3 hours a day and working part-time(a summer job that's over now). My plan is to hopefully play full time poker with the objective off saving up money to travel/get a poker flat next summer. I live with my parents so I have basically no living overheads so it should be achievable even on low stakes . (basically clean the house and buy some shopping and my parents are happy)
So I've decided to make a blog to help motivate myself and hopefully make some friends who have similar goals. I'm also really keen to get a Skype group going with people on similar stakes so write if your intrested and reading this.
With no strict schedule I'm quite a lazy person so I will be setting myself an ambitious routeen with weekly rewards/punishment (i'm thinking pizza and beer vs sprints at the park). I've always been very into sports but last year at uni I got lazy so my secondary goal (which im sure willl help with poker) is to get ultra fit and also eat very healthy. ♠_biggrin:
I'm currently moving my roll of ipoker (my room didn't make it into ipoker2) but in the mean time I deposited a bit on ongame. The software kinda tilts me but its seems incredibly soft compared to the regfest that is ipoker and i hated the ipoker software at first too. Also not liking the sound of the "essence rake" thingie so where i'm gonna play next i'm pretty unsure about (suggestions welcome! ♦)
