how to play it better: flop stab is pretty standard, but definitely check behind the turn.
when he c/c flop i put him on something like 33, JJ+ and some random fds.

the problems are: all his draws are better than mine, i may already be drawing dead and overpairs that went for way ahead/way behind are not folding either. i can't pot the river either because he can easily put me on missed fd, so 3barrel float is absolutely awful

it almost felt like they could see my cards, my won when saw flop % was an abysmal 31%.
couldn't hit anything at all when it mattered, people minraising turns against my top pair, i felt sick

one of the straights was with reversed implieds because other guy was on the nut gutter. FML

this one will be even more interesting. this was an interesting month in a lot of ways, except shipping monies where i ran awful

goals:

[x] achieve platinum status retake - you see that! second time is the charm indeed
[x] ???? - !!!!
[x] PROFIT! - -$16.62 in actual tables profit, $265.38 in EV. i'll consider it a success though for two reasons, EV bucks and a stars $50 VIP stellar reward bonus which actually puts me on the green for the month ♦

if we break down the month by limits it gets more interesting

nl100:

took a shot, it ended with a super terrible traumatizing day with variance raping me in the ass
that said, i don't think i have a good edge (if any) on the limit and the better regs and supernova elites soul own me. so yeah, step up my game while i build roll on nl50-

nl50:

played and ran okay but EV raped me in the ass
then took a break, ZOMG i am way behind schedule gogo chase volume mindlessly on nl25

nl25:

played and ran good, then variance AND EV raped me hard in the ass, then i played quite worse than usual because of accumulated tilt but/and because of that they kept raping me in the ass, but ran better last friday+ which were some pretty good days actually

i call "variance" the general runbad/rungood that happens like KK into AA, unbelievable runouts and such things that don't show up in the EV line.
EV is just how good we do when we ship the monies.

which good things happened?

i'm happy to have tested the waters at nl100, and to have been assigned as a hand judge for nanostakes. i've also improved enough overall.
i'm somewhat satisfied with how i managed to push through a tough run and continue playing... not that satisfied with how i handled it, but i didn't quit which was good.
also all this runbad made me actually work on my mental game, even though i still have quite a lot of issues. asked for help on which i think is the most critical one

i think there are more things, but i can't remember. so well...
