Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

MP: $67.08 (134.2 bb)
Hero (CO): $55.94 (111.9 bb)
BTN: $30.68 (61.4 bb)
SB: $21.80 (43.6 bb)
BB: $96.06 (192.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 5 A
MP raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $4.50, 3 folds, MP calls $3

Flop: ($9.75) A 3 2 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($9.75) Q (2 players)
MP checks, Hero checks

River: ($9.75) K (2 players)
MP bets $5, Hero calls $5

Results:

Spoiler

$19.75 pot ($0.98 rake)
Final Board: A 3 2 Q K
MP showed A K and won $18.77 ($9.27 net)
Hero mucked 5 A and lost (-$9.50 net)

Anon table.

Villain seemed like a tighter reg, not opening too wide, but no calling too wide either (something like 18/17 as I remember).
Preflop I thought I can make him fold better hands (f.e. AQ-AT) with a 3bet, and I dont have a hopeless hand even if he calls. Or just leave him alone CO v MP?
Postflop? I didnt see value in betting my TP, so my plan was to check it down, maybe make a smaller vbet on the river, if he triplechecks.

if u think there's not much value, i think bet turn/ check behind river could be better
he would not bluff with hands like TT JJ otr but probably would call with KQ ott

Hello pcfmcc02,

Guess I'd also go for Bet on the turn whilst you might get value from draws there as well and then can always decide what to do on the river.

Best Regards.
