You could bet a bit bigger on flop and turn, but other than that, I would play it exactly the same.

PS: Yesterday, I was a bit out of it and did not fold KK twice in those spots, and they always had a set, so don't let it happen to you ;-).

Hey muel294,

Doubt I be folding here. He could still have any pair+draw to take such a line which you are ahead of and against 66 BB there is really not much you can do. So just shove and hope for the best.

Best regards,

Seriously? You recommend stacking of overpair after a rather dry flop and after a turn where most of the few draws have actually hit?

Especially after a min-raise on the turn like that, you are are usually crushed.

I am inclined to agree with sikac. If the turn was a J/K then maybe I should fold but given SPR don't think I can. Against a full stack I think I can fold.

I think it depends if we think he has KQ/QJ here and plays this way.

Hello muel294,

I'd be planning to Bet/Fold as well in those spots, even though vs a mid-stack it might be difficult. You must realize that those min-raises are often rather just trappy raises to try to drag you along not that they would do that with just Qx. The board is also connected which means straights/2pairs etc type of hands which rather have us beat.

Best Regards.

Thanks Veriz,

This hand actually put me on tilt. I feel like I am bet/fold way too often which results in spew because I start calling off or overplaying hands.

If villain has a similar stack but just shoves over my turn bet would you feel more inclined to call it off because he might play some combo draws / draws and weaker pairs that way?

cheers
