Opponent is playing really tight only small sample 40 hands 17/14/7.1

Preflop: Hero is CO with T 9
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.60, BTN folds, SB raises to $2, BB folds, Hero calls $1.40

Flop: ($4.20) T 9 4 (2 players)
SB bets $2.40, Hero calls $2.40

Turn: ($9) 8 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

I am not sure on the correct way to play flop. I think I prefer calling, and betting turn (because we can represent all draws, and we get information about opponents hand)

What do you think is the best line here?

raise up flop to get in vs JJ+/suited broadways
board is very coordinated, and villain's hand range is seemingly weighted towards stronger holdings. raise get in would be my preferred line on the flop

Hi,

It is clear fold postflop. You don´t flop enough times two pair, trips or straight that you should be calling T9o against tight player. And most of the times you miss or end up having one pair hand. Also hands like KK/QQ would not really stack off on AT9 board unless they turn set.

Postflop I would prefer raising 5.8$ and getting all-in against overpairs- players would often put you on bluffs or air and would get all-in their overpairs and flushdraws.

Turn you should bet for value 5.5-6.5$ and then shove on blank river- you´re betting against flushdraws and get value against overpairs
