Ras, when you said you are not gonna play for a week and watch videos then i thought you meant strategy videos.

FML I cheated on day one
I installed the windows party client. I plalyed the FR on mac os (without HUD) and I wanted to grind on party for a bit.
So I spewed a bit but then got myself together to end the day with -$8. Which isnt to bad because - was down 20 at one point.
Party was nice. Its a regfest, but they are SOOO bad. Means not many big pots but a LOT small pots. Big fun!
Keep grinding!

Who said sundays were bad?

Does this mean I'm one of the sunday luckboxing fish? I hope not!
This is on party btw nl10.
Like I said before loads of regs, but easy game.
I don't even mind if there isn't a very loose fish on the tables. 3bets are just GOLD! Made one reg spazz out ♦ Was 3betting almost everything and all of a sudden I wake up with AA ♠_cool: He stacked of with ATo. Nice one bru ![]()
Good luck at the tables!

Me.
Glad you had a good day.
I had a whack o' freeroll tickets to use up.
I played 8 of them, and was busted or crippled on the river 6 times.
Lost flips the other two.
Each time I was ahead.
There is always tomorrow...

Are the regs on Party much better/worse than microgaming/888?
That is a good question. I really don't know tbh. It's been to long since I've played on 888.
But the "regs" on nl10 at party are very bad. It's actually easier then on Unibet. Get less multiway pots and villians don't show up with some weird hand that somehow sucked out on your AA.
I'm keeping my roll (or whats left of it) on Unibet though. It should be highly profitable to play there. But I can make any profit there tbh ![]()

i don't think the regs are any better or worse.. each reg is individual ♦ generally party is a little nittier in my experience.. and the fish really stick out because they just spazz out a bit. whereas given the small player pool on microgaming you have regs who keep themselves to themselves and others who are practically fish. i've never reeeally been played back at much by regs at nl10 on microgaming. at least not that i've noticed
Bonjourno everyone!
Today had the ultimate BE session ever! Sorry guys it's in € but it should be in $, but you'll get the point. Don't feel like starting up windows again.

I did notice something today!
I noticed how much focus it takes to play poker. If I was focussed I was really crushing, but once I started doing all sorts of non poker related stuff I was losing. Really big revelation!
So I might cut down the length of session. I like playing long session but it's not really worth it if I'm playing BE.
Music for today
BE
I know the feeling too well. However you are putting really nice volume!
For you is the length of the session, for me is the number of tables (btw, how many tables are you playing?) I realised I just can't focus when I get more than 4-6 going. Strange because you would think that should grab your attention even more than 4. However it seems my brain just wants to get out of there...it feels comfy with 4 tough ![]()
Have you tried to build the length of your session gradually?

Hey MC
I play 4 tables. I can only fit 4 tables on my macbook screen ![]()
You know the thing is like I've been playing long session for half a year now or so. And I've had 5-6 hour sessions and stuff. I even had a 4 hour 8 table session ![]()
But today (well yesterday) I really noticed how my WR and focus were connected with each other. I reckon that if I play shorter sessions, really focused I should crush nl10 on party very soon and move up to nl25.

There is definitely a balance to be taken notice of, it just takes some time to find out what the best ratio is. I find it's all down to focus for me. I can play 12 tables of 6 max nl4 one session and can't focus on 6 the next properly.
But then I'm old.
First of all, can fish (me) post in this blog? hehe

What is "WR" ?

Here is my approach I try to implement:
I have made an Excel document in which I made a table of many columns (Hours played, Hands played, Tables played, Profit / Loss (in $) etc)
You could say, summary of each day.
So when I'll conclude that I'm winning by playing x amount of tables like for week or so. I'll add 1 or 2 tables and see how does it affect my 'profit / loss' column.
As for "I just can't focus when I get more than 4-6 going." --- I guess you never will, you have to "train" your brain to it. So it gets used to increased level of action.

Well, it is not my blog, but I am allowed to post here...
WR = win rate

I like it
I kind of was trying that, but I think your approach is more gradual than mine. I have decided though to stick to 4 tables, as I need to get use to them by the time I reach 1zillionNL
(apart from the fact that probably my reaction time then, given the age I will be, might be somewhat slow...)
