Hi!
I'm confused... are you playing PLO now???

I could be wrong, but didn't you yourself said that you tend to start new things and then after a while drop them?

If that is so - guess what? You are doing it again (leaving No Limit Texas Hold'em to play Pot Limit Omaha)
And there is so many pokers out there...

I think you should really reconsider what are you doing. In my opinion, your brain is messing with you!

Mind is smart it can prove whatever he wants (see this link)

For example,

"Well Omaha is more difficult than Holdem." "There is less informations about Omaha overall." "who won´t like to play with lots of fishes." "Challenge is bigger in Omaha and I´m pro challenge."

Let me say this in another way: So you are going to play game which is harder, which has less information available while you haven't beat the game (NL Hold'em) which is easier and has a lot more information available? ?(
Ok you say that in PLO "are a lot more fishes" and in Hold'em there isn't?

As for - ""Challenge is bigger in Omaha" - if that is the case. Doesn't it make sense to "finish" your first easier challenge?!!

Also did you forget this:

Therefore my greatest and ultimate goal is to become a POKER PRO on NL50, SUPERNOVA on Stars and an official Czech Coach on the Poker Strategy forum for MULTITABLING and MSS on MICRO STAKES UP TO NL25.
I proclaim that I will grasp all the habits I need to secure this goal and I will face any challenges that may arise on the way to my goal.
I take this vision statement as a contract with myself and I hold myself accountable for fullfiling the mentioned goals.

It's possible I sounded quite harsh, but maybe I had to. I think we are quite similiar that's why I totally get why you thought and "proved" to yourself that switching to PLO is the right move, right now.
Remember, mind is smart.
Instead of starting something new, finish the old (or at least has some success) ;)

P.S. I actually quite liked your blog even I didn't reply so much! I hope you switch back to No Limit Hold'em. _cool:

Heeey bro!!

I´m not playing PLO. Tried it a bit though.

It was a bit strange portion of time. I´m playing what I played before and that is - NLHE MSS strategy.

You are totally right - sometimes our minds are messing with us and that is what happened to me.

I´ve been speaking about that with my coach Schnitzelfisch and we decided that it was not a good move and also that I should stay with what I´ve chosen.

So - don´t worry, I´m on the Holdem ship again. And don´t worry about sounding harsh. It was a mistake and I would have wasted a lot of time if I didn´t switched back:)

Thank you for this feedback so much!!!

Sincerely,

Yurao

POKER SQUARED BLOG POST: BLOG, PROJECTS AND STUFF :)

:spade:  :diamond: :club: :spade:  :diamond: :club: :spade:  :diamond: :club: :spade:  :diamond: :club: :spade:  :diamond: :club: :spade:  :diamond: :club: :spade:  :diamond: :club: :spade:  :diamond: :club: :spade:

Hey guys!

Sorry that I´m posting just today! I´m kinda busy lately. I was out completely for two days and therefore I was not able to play or do anything else. I was also working a lot on my new projects for Czech community. Namely, preparing the video structure, writing the script for my first video and also translating a chunk of Schnitzelfischs guide.

I´ve got some very positive feedback in CZ community which was not expected honestly. Wow...some motivation and accountability:D I also skimmed around the czech blogs and took a look at people there.

I hope that my first video will be released as soon as possible to get some feedback so that I can start improving in my presentation skills. (Right now I´m finishing the PPS presentation to the script and then I will have to work with Camtasia a bit:) )

This all came at a price though. I was able to play only around 6 hours last week which is not so much. I´m happy that my other projects are starting to run quite well though.

I also started sort of cooperation with my friend who makes music. I´m helping him stay on the track, help him motivated. This gives me the experience of working with somebody who has goals and want to fill them.

Oh yeah! I also found one of my trading books. This one is called Trading coach. It is a set of chapters that covers different aspects of mental things that you should get running properly. In the world of trading this book is the same as Jared Tendlers book to poker players. I decided to read it once more. Activelly this time, make some notes and so on. Activelly think about the contents.

In the meantime I´m practicing my 2A yoyo skills and I´m getting better. Need to get new yoyos:) The current ones are not enough. I also want some yoyos for 3A yoyoing.

And now for some worse news. I will be posting my session reviews not as often now because it takes quite a lot time to build one. I need to give priority to other stuff like posting more hands as I´m not doing this to the degree that i would like. Basically blog is just a summary of things that were done. So I have to put it on the end of prio list. I will try to post sessions at least once per week but I would like to do it twice per week.

I also decided to now start using double Bankroll management. Once I reach 35 buy ins for the next limit,...

NL10 will be visited at 140USD in the bank. Currently we are sitting at 115USD.

Isn't 140 USD like 14 Buy Ins (not even close to 35)? ?(

Or did I misunderstood your BRM?

Hi there!

I play mid stack strategy so my buy in for NL10 is 4USD.

POKER SQUARED BLOG POST: RANDOM THOUGHTS:)

Hey guys!

I thought that it would be a good time to update my blog again. Even though it will be just some talk without any graphs or so.

My coaching with Schnitzelfisch ended. I learned a lot of things for him and I must say that things took a very fast step forward.

I released my first video for pokerstrategy Czech community and there is already quite a lot of people who are asking for some advices. I hope that I can become a private coach soon. I don´t want to rush this too much. Probably a few more videos and then I will launch this career. I´m also translating Schnitzels guide that is so popular on English forums. I´ve found many nice contacts throughout Pokerstrategy and it never stops to surprise me how deep the community surrounding it actually is and how many good ideas people there have.

I wonder how many people are actually using the chance of being in the community. It actually reminds me of my days in WoW some years ago. When the community is nice and wide and you are active part of it - its just amazing experience! Same applies to poker.

I´m playing a little less now due to my work on other projects. They are quite time consuming. However I´m not stopping playing:) Not at all.

Less frequent updates of my blog are the price for that:( But blog always was my last priority. Even though I like to write it.

Sincerely,

Yurao
