I usually hate raising so much and not sticking it in with AK, but i actually think you played it fine, AKs is a good hand to see a flop just investing 250 more chips and shoving seems a bit risky. I think shoving is ok but i might call also, depending on the villain.

Flop seems alright too, great odds but our outs aren't even good a lot of times.

Hi all,

I like shoving preflop here. If villain had shoved, I'm certainly calling. I think as played despite our reverse implied odds, calling flop is best.
