villain was 30/16 after 200 hands but quite passive. I think i should have just called the river bet. as i guess by raising i only really beat a bluff/poorly played Kx hand

Hello,

Preflop raising is fine.

I don't like your flop check. I think we should cbet here for the following reasons:
- we can make better hands to fold - TT-22 are folding the flop
- we have gutshot, overcard and backdoor FD so we have decent equity
- we don't mind if a hand like 87 folds
What do you think about it?

As played on the flop, I would bet the turn more - around $0.12-$0.13.

On the river I think we have an easy raise/go broke here.
I don't expect him to be having full house only, and he would stack off with every Kx and he might have worse straights.

Against a Tag opp i would definitely bet here, however i thought with such a loose villain i wouldn't gain much fold equity from the cbet on a paired board. I'm never really i fan of chasing the backdoor flush/striaghts just because how few and far between they come!
