Long time no recap. Since I have a bit of free time while waiting for some program to calculate some things for uni, I might as well write it now.
There are a couple of things which have changed since I wrote here, and an important one is that I won't be playing poker until further notice. Whereas the game is fun and challenging, I do feel like investing too much time in it slows down the progress of my other projects (which are more important), which kind of sucks.
Another thing which changed is the title of the blog. Yes, I am still trying to make a million dollars and I do have it a s a personal mid-term goal. But I don't want it to be the main focus. I want the main focus to be to live an amazing life and to share my knowledge and experiences with others in a positive, inspiring way.
I will come back to poker later on of course as I want to have a bit more insight into how things work at midstakes, but right now is not the appropriate time for this.
2013
So let's look at this next year. The biggest and most important thing that I want to achieve is to become a more social, nicer and more positive person. That's the top priority by far.
I have already worked on it in the last 2 weeks intensively and the results are pretty amazing so far.
In the future weeks, I'm mostly going to focus on uni since I need to finish a couple of projects there and I'll also have some exams.
There are many things that I want to do in 2k13 and I have already made a lot of goals for each area of my life, but I don't want to bore you with a huge list of goals.
So I will stick to mentioning only the most relevant things in this blog (also the updates will be less frequent than in the past due to busy schedule unfortunately).
So, a couple of big projects:
Book project
In february+march, I am going to intensively focus on my book project. I will rewrite the productivity guide to make it even better, throw out the things that I feel aren't that useful and add some new stuff.
I will then publish this either as an e-book or a paperback book or both. I'm planning on using a publish on demand system, such as lulu.com for paperback.
I would really like to know if you guys would prefer a paperback or an ebook. Also any ideas on additional chapters of the book would be great (now is your opportunity to actually get the questions you want answered in my book :)).
Blog project
In the near future, I am also planning on setting up my own productivity blog where I will post articles (not poker related, but life related), book reviews, etc.
It should be a fun thing as I love to write and it will also enable me to share my advice with non-poker players, which I can't really do at the moment (when I link them to my productivity guide on ps.com they always start with "poker?! GAMBOOL!", you know what I mean).
Coachings
I obviously want to continue coaching people and producing videos for pokerstrategy. I think the free coaching with muellair in the beginning of January went great, I'm really happy that I got to coach someone who will actually apply my advice :).
I have also had a couple of amazing coaching sessions with TLN lately. They have just been so insanely inspiring for both of us, it's unbelievable :).
Travelling
I want to travel around europe a lot and hopefully to at least 1 non-europe destination this year.
I've already booked flight tickets for Vienna and will be coming there with a friend in march.
More specifically, I will be in Bratislava Mar 13 -> Mar 14 and in Vienna Mar 14 -> Mar 18 (flying back on 18th in the morning though).
If you want to meet up, message me ;).
That's all for now, take care!
P.S. I really would appreciate if you could leave some feedback/ideas for my book project here as a reply :).
