Too optimistic in thinking that. Yes sometimes they do it but its very player dependent. Not every fish also will just jam with middle pair or even weak top pairs. If you give them such a loose range you'll end up calling a lot of jams and screwing up your bankroll.

Ok so here are some hands that I called with or cold called. After going through all of them in my database I decided to post the following, mostly the ones I lost some cash with.

####Hand 1####

Revolution Gaming Network - €0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 88.7 BB
UTG: 53.1 BB
MP: 41.9 BB
CO: 12.6 BB
Hero (BTN): 132 BB
SB: 42.3 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: €0.15) Hero has A♣ T♦

UTG calls 1 BB, MP calls 1 BB, CO calls 1 BB, Hero calls 1 BB, SB calls 0.5 BB, BB checks

Flop: (€0.60, 6 players) 4♣ 3♦ T♣
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP checks, CO checks, Hero bets 4 BB, fold, fold, UTG calls 4 BB, fold, fold

Turn: (€1.40, 2 players) Q♥
UTG checks, Hero bets 7 BB, UTG raises to 14 BB, Hero calls 7 BB

River: (€4.20, 2 players) K♣
UTG checks, Hero checks

UTG shows 9♠ Q♣ (One Pair, Queens) (Pre 37%, Flop 15%, Turn 89%)
Hero mucks A♣ T♦ (One Pair, Tens) (Pre 63%, Flop 85%, Turn 11%)
UTG wins 39.2 BB

I usually would raise this hand preflop, I think it is correct to bet the flop, my question is the sizing, one question that struggles me is also, do we bet smaller in the multyway pots to keep players in or do we protect our hand by betting a bit under the potsize. I bet the turn, thinking that he will fold his flush draw, once he raises im pretty sure he spiked that queen or he is doing this with 2 pair or better, i think fold would be the best here but i decided to call and check or fold.

####Hand 2####

Revolution Gaming Network - €0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 210.2 BB
UTG: 29 BB
Hero (MP): 103.1 BB
CO: 54.3 BB
BTN: 30.4 BB
SB: 99.9 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: €0.15) Hero has T♣ K♣

UTG calls 1 BB, Hero calls 1 BB, CO calls 1 BB, BTN calls 1 BB, SB calls 0.5 BB, BB checks

Flop: (€0.60, 6 players) T♥ A♦ K♦
SB bets 3 BB, fold, UTG raises to 15 BB, Hero calls 15 BB, fold, fold, SB calls 12 BB

Turn: (€5.10, 3 players) 5♦
SB raises to 83.9 BB and is all-in, fold, fold

SB wins 47.6 BB

I dont really know if it would be the correct play to stack on the flop.

####Hand 3####

Flop: (€3.30, 2 players) 7♥ 2♠ 2♥

Turn: (€3.30, 2 players) 5♠

River: (€3.30, 2 players) 8♠

Hero shows 6♣ 6♠ (Two Pair, Sixes and Twos) (Pre 53%, Flop 72%, Turn 68%)
SB shows A♠ 9♠ (Flush, Ace High) (Pre 47%, Flop 28%, Turn 32%)

Yes with hand 1 you should have gone for isolation raise preflop. As per your question about multiway pots, bet sizing depends on how your hands plays in multiway pot. Normally broadway hands don't play well multiway so you want to isolate with them preflop and bet/raise on higher side and should be ready to give up to further action multiway since TP normally isn't good in multiway. However hands like PPs that flop sets or suited connector type hands are where you don't mind many people in the pot.

Yeah, Hand 1 is an easy fold on turn. Multiway nobody is bluffing. If he's raising turn then put him on Qpair+ and give it up. Many times you'll also see sets and 2pairs in these spots.

Hand 2 when you just limp you're giving chances to people behind you to make in iso raise. You won't even have position. Just fold it preflop. Not correct to play for stacks at all. Many combos beat you like AK, AT, QJ. His raise on the flop is also quite big, kinda like he's trying to protect his made hand. Fold it on the flop itself. People don't bluff much multiway

Hand 3: from BU you can easily raise 66. After SB raises you can't call. His raise is very big you both need 300bb in your stacks to set mins using Call20. So fold it.

Just saw he shoved. No 66 not good enough to call. give him a range you think he could shove, play around on equilab and see what range you're comfortable calling short stack all ins with.

Hand 4: A5s can be isolated and can be called also when you're in the button. Totally depends on blinds. If blinds make a lot of raises and isolation raises or 3bet a lot then just fold it, no point overlimping. If you know they call a lot then you can limp you'll get good odds as they'll limp too. If they are tight you can even iso raise and take the hand down preflop.

Gotta rush, will look at next two hands later. I think you should read some articles or watch some videos on isolation. The video series Crushing NL 50 also gives good intro to iso raise.

Hand 1

Yo have crushed their limping range so make them pay and raise 6bb at least preflop. ATo does not play good multiway oop. Keep betting TP until they raise you, then fold.

Dont post, or at least hide results coz its bad for judging.

Hand 2

Again what is this? Raise him 5bb, you have position and will have initiative. When you call you are multiway and dont know what to do in many spots. Exactly like now, and i would fold coz i cant see hands that we beat, and others have ton equity on us and its still multiway, no me gusta.

Hand 3

I would raise CO to get initiative, call is an option tho. When sb jam 15 bb i call with a smile.

Hand 4

Raise preflop if you want to play or fold :f_mad: On flop BB is so short you can only raise all in if you want to play, chasing draw by x/c all streets is bad imo.

Hand 5

Raise, you have them crushed + will have position + initiative and no multiway. So much win in raising! As played, they are short so u are going nowhere = pot flop, pot turn thx.

Hand 6

Fold preflop unless he is major donk. You are dominated nicely, when you flop Ace he will take you to valuetown. On flop you can only call and pray they dont bet turn/river, if they do you fold coz you beat nothing.

I would like to thank you all that commented on the hands I posted. I plan to post some tommorow. I would like to get some feedback on the stats aswell.

As for the game I really tryed to play the best I could. Suffered at the end since they were hitting miracles on river and I really dont want to comment since I lost good portion of nerves already.
I will have to work on my mental game if I want to keep sucessfully punishing these retards.

Very good run. Its amazing when things start of like this. Very good going.

I hope you're booking coaching sessions too with these winnings as you had planned initially. Since you're moving up so quickly its very critical that you also make sure your skill is also increasing tat the same rate else you might hit a big downswing one day and won't realize what happened.

Also if you don't mind my asking, what site are you playing on?

Hello maheep!

I am planning to join a poker office, still thinking about it since it would be very time consuming and my university stuff would suffer, Im saving the money, still didnt book a coach hovewer Im studying baluga, grindcore and raskolnikov ( unfortunate I dont have the requiered funds to book his courses but I would love to!).
So the best plan for me would be to join the office, kinda hope for some coaching and grnd my ass to the NL50 where It would be easyer for me to pay for travel expences and the future coachings.

I still play on the same network as before and that is GoldBet poker.

Happy you stopped by! :)

Alright so preflop is standard, two fish call my bet now the flop comes. In these spots i do not ever want to fold my hand, even if any of those two guys have pairs in their calling range, I can still improve with any Ace and any King, and obviously any spade. So my thinking here is standard continuation bet on the flop and when he showes he could be doing this with any pair, flush draw ( unlikely since i already have it )and a queen that I still beat in more than 50% of the cases

Alright I know this might be strange to a majority of you however this Is a reg that I play against on daily basis.
I believe this was BTN vs SB situation. He did the exact same thing few hands before when I wanted to resteal with not such a good hand.
My thoughts here are that I am still making money 3 betting him becouse he will just fold so much and I dont really like to setmine in this kind of spots. He makes the absurd 4 bet really representing only AKoff and AQ or worse which im favourite against.

Hand 1, call all day long, you're getting odds to call with just the FD too, you don't even need to consider overcards.

Hand 2, preflop squeeze would be much bigger, 3 EUR. 3x+1 for every cold caller. Flop is a definite bet and call him off given your stack size. BTW why aren't you with 100bb stack sizes? do shallow tables allow only like 50bb BI?

Hand 3, hmmmm...

Alright now this might be strange to you but if you think he folds a lot to 3bets, then never 3bet him with 99.

BTW its CO vs BTN not SB vs BTN.

ok, so lets say you define 3 types of hands you 3bet with, Premium hands (AA,KK,QQ) Broadways (AK,AQ,KQ,AJ...) and suited connectors/low pairs. For the sake of simplicity say there are 2 types of opponents, with high fold to 3bet and low fold to 3bet i.e. call more.

Against high fold to 3bet I will 3bet hands like suited connectors/low pairs and call with broadways and premium pairs. The reason is that he folds so much to 3bets that he will never give me value when i have strong hands and only fight back when he has the nuts. he might open hands like KT, 89s but he'll fold those when you 3bet. SO when you call with hands like AQ you keep a weaker part of his range in play i.e. KT,89s type hands and enter flop against a range you are doing much better against.

Against a low fold to 3bet% guy I'll 3bet premium hands and broadways and call low PPs and sometimes fold suited connectors (based on their post flop play). When I 3bet him with AQ I know he'll call with worse since his fold to 3bet is low. SO now I enter flop with hands that i again dominate and increased sized pots where i can get paid bigger. 3betting SCs against them will be bad cause you'll need to hit to make money.

99 is sort of different, JJ-99 are neither premium pairs nor low pairs which is why they get tricker to play. With them I'd call against maybe both guys, high fold to 3bet and low fold to 3bet. Against high fold to 3bet guy no point 3betting, I'm ruining a chance of so much post flop value by 3betting him. If he has a hand like AA,KK he'll 4bet and you'll have to fold else he'll fold and still no value. even if he opens like KT and you call, flop a set he flops a pair you can still get about 2 streets of value. Against low fold to 3bet I won't 3bet cause he'll call often and i'll have a hard time playing post flop since many overcards could hit.

Obviously there are many other factors to take into consideration too like 4bet%, post flop Cbet%, double barrel % etc. but just based on 3bet stats I use this logic.

BTW like you say he folds to 3bets a lot, he'll almost always only continue with premium hands and many times that might not even have AK.

See this video for a better understanding of all I just said about hand 3 also.

edit: removed competitor video, sure you understand :)
