PS members scammed by Adapter1337

wow, this guy really now how to talk , he cheats TT , cheats TLN , and he still has the account here, i'm thinking about making some stuff public

Probably not worth it hunting him down, true. It's a shady business where ppl scam regularly and it's also hard to get help.

Still, this is too far against my principles and I am such a principle guy that I can sacrifice a few hours here and there and invest it in hunting him down. One day I will find him and then I will add up all those hours and he has to pay me what I lost in hunting him down.

Not doing anything is probably easier in the short term, but I just can't do it in this case. It's just way too personal than a random staking scam (you remember this Romanian dude that scammed me here on the staking board? lol forgot his name, but ofc in such a spot Im ok with it. Learned from it and never staked unknowns. Manu, you know his name, right?) However, with Simo it's much different as its on such a close personal level that I cant just not care about it at all. Every few weeks I care about it a bit and it feels to be right not to let those guys do whatever they want and not have to fear any consequence. One day, not tomorrow ofc, he will feel my Tony G powerrrrr ♠_evil:

this has to certainly change, i thought for sure he is banned. I can see arguments even for contacting Pokerstars for blocking his account, even tho not sure if thats managable at this moment.

but comon, pokerstrategy, ppl who put so much effort into making ur web the level it is now get clearly scammed by 1 of ur users - and u do ntg???

I've helped out TT as much as I could and did all obligations as a company could. Please try to respect that. You can of course try to convince PokerStars to inactivate an active user account and see where it leads.

User in question is banned from our community, there isn't anything else we're legally able to do here anymore.

I also hope that this situation will be resolved soon.

Certainly we have many different form of banning a user technically and maybe you should ask TT why it's like that and what we agreed upon to help this process even better.

did PS send an email to him regarding the situation and if he don't pay somehow the money ( deff. he can't pay all the money instantly ) his account will be terminated?

Once upon a time i was staked from PS member to play sngs. After some hot run in sngs i decide to take a shot playing heads up cash. The result was to loose stakers bankroll and all my bankroll in hus. This happened before a year

I never had the itention to payback. I was feeling bad because i lost the stake but i never felt obligated to pay because i lost the stake and i didnt stole it. Yeah you will say i am an asshole but this is how i was thinking. Now i am paying back because there was some that i really respect his opinion and give me to understand clearly where i am wrong

My point is, unless i have misread, you dont mention how he scammed you. Did he lost the stake? Did he stole the stake? It is very difficult to judge without knowing the story. I think it is very difficult to take the money back because poker has not legal rules. You cant give this person in the police or something

The only way to take your money back is to really make this person understand that he is wrong. It is a funny thing that every person is different and you have to push the right buttons. Some persons work better with pressure/fear or whatever but some others work better if you hit them emotically

You just have to push the right buttons. If you thing he will work better with fear put a gun in his head. If you thing he will work better with emotion try to put him in your place. It is not as simple as it sounds

For me the second worked. They told me: If you were in stakers place and someone lost your stake playing something else, you would like to have your money back right? So why you dont try to pay them back? How you feel if you were the one with the lost money? This worked

But every person is very different and you have to push the right buttons
