Well, when u fold AK there it is super profitably 
Most people will bet this river with almost all hands they bet the turn so I think their range is unbalanced. When u don't bet AK it's even more unbalanced. I like checking only if villain folds all Ax when we bet.

Have you tried counting combos? eg, he calls 1/2 time AA pre (1.5set combos), 1/4 with KK(.75set combos), he raises flop 1/2 time flop 66 (1.5set combos or as it turns out 0.5combos) etc. I'm not amazing at counting combos myself but it could help right?
Personally I think I do end up calling because I'm close to the top of my range, I feel AA and KK are heavily discounted, there is 1 combo of 66 out there, A6 seems a non-standard call with squeeze-happy players behind us and even 77 is unlikely to continue flop. It also does seem like a potential spot to fold out busted draws and put AQ AJ under pressure (in retrospect)
That all said, I'm unsure on how many Flushdraw+6 he might have and things are always different in-game so I might be a chicken and fold ♦

OP mentioned villain may call AA/KK due to percieved squeeze likelyhood. If this was the case should you not also add this consideration to the fact A6 doesn't seem an amazing call anyway.
As an aside i'm wondering about your points; 1) Shouldn't a thinking player be fairly quick to adapt his 3bet or squeezing range vs UTG? Or you say this because you cannot squeeze a widened value-range due to likelyhood of a 3-way 3-bet pot?
2) Fish in pot... Wouldn't that mean you'd want to squeeze more specially if you're BU or am I missing something? General player-type indicator stats become relevant fairly quickly don't they, would have thought adjustment would happen sooner rather than later?
If they all think UTG is a fish there is nothing to adapt(or balance) i think, only call/3b/squeeze exclusively for value, unless they have reads he folds a lot to 3b/sq or folds to cb'ets in 3b pots. You have to adapt only to other players if they are regs, but If player just called UTG probably there is no active squeezers behind at all, or he had strong hand and wanted to induce some one behind to squeeze

Logically this is a call for all the reasons you already know, but I feel like in practise I just never expect him to bluff here. I don't mind folding tbh.
Edit: Although since this is at 1knl perhaps he turns some blockers into bluffs, ie KQ or similar? Hard for him to call down KQ two streets though since he can't have the flushdraw to go with. So yeah I dunno it's very ballsy to turn a pure flushdraw without any blockers here into a bluff so I guess I stand with what I wrote first.
