DAY 16

Yesterday I played the 30s for the first time and it didn't go well :(. I lost al 5, but at least I got a small profit on the 15s losing only $ 107.43

Today the 30s still didn't go great getting only 2nd twice over 7 games but the 15s gone great today so I won $ 173.75 overall today :),

I also got to enough games to put in a score for the earth high orbit of the battle of the planets being at 6th atm :)

Still have to see an other 6 hours though people could ofcourse put in higher scores at the last moment. So I will keep you all updated in what place I ended up tomorrow ^^.

For training I gone over some showdown hands of an other 3 regs I haven't looked at before. I keep finding new players that play these games reguraly so it seems to become a bit of an routine now ^^. Also I was planning on looking over a couple of these 30s games together with an other SnG player, but he ended up not having the time to do so today so I looked at a game myself and I don't think I made any clear mistakes.

DAY 17

I had to do a lot of stuff today. So being already quite late I decided to only look at some showdown hands of some regs today.

Today I tried to up the volume by using tableninja for playing 12 tables. although tableninja helped with saving time per table I still felled that I had less time per table and thus decreasing my focus per table. Also for some reason my mouse didn't go to the table that was my turn while I did mark the action to do that. So I will look at that tomorrow. Whilst this isn't resolved I will just play 10 tabes continues and when I get that function to work I will try 12 tables again

today didn't go to well.I ended up losing $ 83.11 over 28 games. dispite that I had less time to come to the best conclusion I don't think that is mostly at fold. got suckout quite a kit and it seemed everytime I pushed from the sb the bb woke up with a monster. At least today the 30s whened better winning $8.93

As for the BOP I still was 6th when I looked at it today ^^. So an extra $ 110 and a ticket to the BOP freeroll will come my way tomorrow :).

Also I managed to get on the leaderboard on sharkscope for the first time :).

DAY 18

Today whened even worse then yesterday as I ended up losing $ 212.43 today. oh, well geuss no bop leaderboard for me this week . Geuss I will stop playing the $ 30 for now and try to rebuild till I feel comfortable paying them again. I did get unlucky a lot, but do feel I wasn't at the top at my game anymore at the end so maybe I shouldn't have played the last 8 games.

For training I watched the video Champions stand up one more time than the rest- part 3. Which goes into getting into how to get good habits and how to keep them. Also some nice analyses of hands with the help or stats and notes. Also some good training unfortenatly if I woud all that I probably end of doing training 3 to 4 hours a day instead of the 1 to 2 hours I do now.

I also gone over 5 showdown hands and this already took me almost 2 hours to get through. Then I whened over some push and foldspots specificly on bubbleplay and 3 handed where I think I am probably most lacking at the moment.

Day 19

Well today I played only $ 15 and I still lost again today. I lost $ 129.42 and it is fair to say I am on my first real downswing since I started playing these normal speed SnG's. Unfortunately I don't think it was only through getting unlucky ( while I definatly was that too a lot :( ). I feel like I just wasn't playing as well as I usely was.

Also today I came short of my training as I only did some push and fold spots and followed Unams coaching. Normally I do the trainings before I do a session and just because what happened now. Since I might not feel as motivated when an session just end horrible. Well nothing I can do now, but I will try to see what I am doing wrong atm and try to get back to playing my A-game

I also started my new habits getting in for the month which is getting a good sleeppatern by going to bed before 1:00 ( obviously not if I when I would be playing mtt's ^^) and doing some sort of work-out every day after breakfast. Which whened alright for the first day. got to bed alright and for training I did some push-ups and pull up and walked to the supermarket instead of taking my bike. Ofcourse I can still inprove a lot on this, but it is a start :).

DAY 21

Ok, finally had the test and now I can focus on poker again. I did had played some sessions in the time I played 57 in total in that time and won $ 27.74. today I got in quite a few games I played 33 today but unfortunately for me I still run pretty bad as I lost $ 128.50 today :(.

For training I did 3 more reviews of regs showdown hands and looked and posted 2 of the hands I had marked the last couple of days.

DAY 22

For some reason I woke up way early today so I just decided to play some poker as I didn't have the time in the afternoon and would probably be back later in the evening. I played some 18 games mixing in some $ 7 turbo's as there is not that much traffic in the morning. The result was pretty good though as I ended up $ 97.18

Today was a busy day though . I needed to go to the dentist and then I would go to my parents on my bike. Unfortunately things whened a bit different as my backwheel decided to burst :(. luckely I did just manage to get the bus just in time but still was 15 minutes later so I had to wait for more then an half hour. Luckely I had the book 'The Lord of the Rings' with me so I didn't get bored in the meanwhile. I was done pretty quickly as everything was fine luckely ^^. My OV-chipcard unfortunately was out of funds and there wasn't anywhere in the town that I could rechrge it, So I had to buy a seperate ticket for the 2nd half of the trip :(. I still needed to get my OV-chipcard recharged though but there aren't any of those machines in the town where my parents live either so I needed to borrow my dad's bike to drive to the closest 'city' to get it recharged.

Well by the time I got finally home though all these thing and the lack of sleep I was unfortunately pretty tired. So it didn't seem smart to play poker.Which was unfortunate as I am really close to Goldstar now. I did however gone over a couple of showdown hands of regs and watched Collins coaching. Unfortunately there where a lot of trouble with lag which made it impossible to see the action. When this finally got resolved there where troubles with the sound. Thus I didn't get to hear a lot of Collins thoughts when playing :(.

The hands that I posted the judge pretty much agreed with my plays exept that he would only push QQ+ if he though he didn't have any FE in the hand. I certantly thought I did have FE until he called the shove with A6o that is :P

DAY 23

Aaargggghhhh :f_mad: played 31 SnG's today and busted on the bubble 11 times. The shortstacks kept winning and everytime I got called a pretty muc lost even when I got it in favorably and even when I got itm I busted out in 3rd a lot unluckely too. pretty frustrating stuff, but all part of the game _cry:. So I lost $ 138.30

For training I looked over 5 showdown hands of regs today, looked over some posted hands in the handevaluationforum, followed Unams coaching. Had a pretty intrestion discussion with Unam about AQ on the sb against a but open he like to flat and play the hand oop postflop while I like the 3b more and mostly pick up the pot pre a lot. I can see some merrit in his play, but I see you just c/f most of the time and since it was a reg it isn't that likely he stacks off to you with the worst hand even if you hit imo. I think it is probably better to do this play against loose passive players that probably not going to fold against the 3b and are more likely to stack off much lighter to you.

Tomorrow since I busted so much in 4th and 5th place I will go over all the hands 4 and 5 handed and see if I made any mistakes. Also do some much more analyses or regs showdown hands.

Isn't posting daily results kind of bad?

@ manu: It what way is it bad? Geuss I could just talk about how the sessions whened and how I fellt about it without giving the results but really don't see why it would matter eitherway.

I also don't just post my daily results but also what I did for trainig, thoughts about hands and ideas for trainings. The idea is more so to keep myself doing training everyday and to write it down in the blog. That way I keep myself more motivated in keep doing trainings everyday.

I would ofcourse also like to get some discussion about hands I posted here, as other player could have ideas about hands I might not considered or might have thought where wrong. Unfortunately no one seems intrested in that though :(

Well, you don't want to be too results oriented or get too affected by results.. regarding hand comments, you know too many cash players, not enough tourney :f_biggrin:

DAY 24

didn''t get to play alot today. It seems pretty clear that I will not get to platinumstar this month :(. Will try to get at least 5K vpp though this month. Did get a small win though. Won $ 13.59 over 18 games.

For training I gone over the losing hands yesterday 4 and 5 handed and gone over 4 more analyses of showdown hands of regs. Also I starting to get data on quite a few regs that I can exaly see which games might be not the most soft to play.

DAY 26

An other not so great day started out by busting the first 10 SnG's without ever getting in the money so finishing only down $ 20.10 after 26 games wasn't that dissapointing. Still hope I can run a bit better then I am at the moment :(.

For training I did 5 showdown hands of regs and whened over my push and foldspots of yesterday. Things looked about fine although a couple of spots where I pushed a bit to loose for marginal - ev spots.

Have a chess game to play tomorrow so I have to focus on that. So I probably won't have much time tomorrow for poker

DAY 27

Ok an other bad day lost an other $ 152.02 today over 35 SnG's :f_cry:. getting really sick about getting these sick set-up and losing most of the time when I get it in. Decided to move down to the $ 7 turbo's till I feel comfortable to play the regular $ 15 again. Why the turbo's you ask and not the regular speed? because I still want to try to get at least 5K vpp this month as I am still trying to get to supernova this year. Not doing the promotion though as I doubt I get 1/4th of the points at 3rd of april and 1/2 of the points at 3rd july ( espaicially as things are going now :f_mad: ).

So far I have goldstar and got 3255 vpp this month

For training I did 3 analyses of showdown hands and watch Collin Moshman vid about abusing the bubble. Which was vert helpfull :)

DAY 28

tried turbo's today and running not any better played 68 and lost $ 92.87 today :f_mad:. Was planning more but this continues run bad was really starting to effect me.

I did only a small training of 2 analyses of regs showdown hands today as I wanted to get some good volume in as I had to whole day to play ( I was aiming for a 100 games). Pretty sure I still am playing quite well but dispite getting it in good a lot I am hardly ever winning the all-in and then there are a lot of coolers too.

So far I got to 3460 vpp this month but at this point if this downswing continues I can make to to 5K vpp this month :(.
