With Full Tilt and Stars you kinda have a guarantee they will buy the online gaming license and you probably won't even feel a dfiference when things change. I say wait and decide afterwards.

You risk a lot if you move and you win nothing special. You can move later whithout any risk
You are right. I'd better wait till everything is clear and not take any unnecessary risks.
Till March, I will probably be playing NL25 or NL50 SH, so when I will move my BR I will release the bonus more easily.
BTW, I like playing HU at NL10 tables, it's fun and I think I have a considerable edge over most opponents, because most of them rarely or never played HU. Usually I get HU when the table breaks down and when I sit down at a table with no players or at one with only 1.
When I see a fullstack waiting alone at a table I sit down right to him, so fish can sit to my right and I have a reg first to my left. After a few hands usually the table is filled up. If I like the table I stick around, if not, I find a better one.
Cheers and Good Luck!
Hello, Gabinr1!
Been following your blog for some months already. I like your motivation and attitude to the game. Many of your posts have inspired me, and it seems we have some things common.
I started playing cash games (6-max) on Stars since this year. (1.5 months aready). I started by originally depositing $10. And yesterday achieved $50 mark. I've been here 1 time (actually BR was up to $67), but lost few stacks by shooting NL5 and then played bad right after that and lost some more (BR was down to $30).
Today (maybe tomorrow as well) I'm taking free from poker, just because I feel I should. $50 is kinda point where I have to stop and think for a while cause my first $50 was from pokerstrategy but I lost them pretty quickly (thought I was good at playing SNGs, and 2 weeks - BR gone.). then I deposited once more my $50 but lost them once more (in abt. 2months),then I got supermotivated (but I've always been motivated to poker no matter what happened or hit me) and made $90 from $1.20 rakeback on FT by playing SNGs (from daily dollar satellites 30 cents to regular $1 and $2 SNGs). I built up my BR to $210, but lost abt. $150 (still think 80% variance, 20% my bad play from variance's hit, cause I studied the game fucking hard, just don't like that grinding I guess). I then took a coaching from lessthanthree (1.5h for $37.5, cause he had half price that time due to 50K blog views), but still goot owned at them.
My viewpoint to cash is that: 1) the variance is smaller than SNGs (once lost 13 buy-ins with QQ+ and AK in two sessions by AI preflop, and felt very sick after that) and never had so big losses at cash. 2) (this I love the most) in cash you can outplay your opponent and pwn him badly (but SNGs it's mainly ICM and not much postflop play than in cash) 3) I really belive that I can beat and play cash better due to fact that I see this game more creative, thinking and you can play or leave whenever you want.
At the moment I read (re-read) Easy Game and The Poker Blueprint. I love these books. Haven't seen anyone told me strategy better than these authors are sharing their knowledge. ![]()
Just wanted to share my opinion and state of mind at the moment since I see me now in position which was your starting point some time ago.
(and btw I'm born at same day as you, only 1989. 6th january, and I'm from Latvia)
Good luck, Gabi! ![]()
miljon.
Hello miljon. Very nice reply, I'm always glad to hear that my blog is helpful to others. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Good luck with your ascend! If you keep a positive attitude and work hard, sky's the limit.
Cheers!
P.S. Hehe, it's nice to know somebody that is born the same day as me ♦
Confidence is back in my system. Over the time, all my 6max experiences were on red, every time I lost money. (I'm down over $3000 in SH games = spewed a lot)
I took punch after punch. First try, I was scared by the new environment, so I ran back to FR. Second try, didn't work out. Try three, it was a disaster. But giving up it's not in my nature. (Never give up!)
And now I finally can say that I established myself in the 6max environment. I love SH game, I can't imagine going back to FR. It's way more enjoyable and productive. ♠_biggrin:
I have the BR for 50NL, but I need to see myself a consistent winner at NL10 and NL25, before moving upwards.
I'm excited to see how things will turn out.
Cheers and Good Luck!

Tencs!
At the start of this month everything should have been clear about the Online Poker Legislation, but it seems it will be delayed till April 1. Which is somehow good news, but I don't know if to move my BR (wait another month?)... I've asked 2 important question in the Romanian forum at EuroPoker platform, to see if they will buy the license and if not if I can withdraw my BR.
