bonjour! not much going on lately.... i went on some monkey tilt a week ago and spewed a couple BI @nl10 so cashed out and planned to just read mainly and take my mind off a bit. left $5 on party and $10 on stars just to play around and have fun with and not take everything so seriously. turned out i built up a new br! weeeeee

i cut out a bit of initial spew from random games like omaha/7card stud etc (i can't play them ♦)
also cleared a $25 bonus at party so..

time for an UPDATE!
havent been too active lately but i have no excuse really. i shot nl20 yet again - which means my 7th shot above nl10 - and it seemed to go okay for a while but i eventually lost all profit there and then more so i moved down to nl10 and now lost ~17BI. my bankroll is at an all time low atm along with my motivation.
like any time we run bad it can be used as a time to learn, so i've picked up on a few leaks of mine to work on. other than that there is a LOT of spew in my game atm and it feels like i've forgotten how to play solid. so i'm back reading lots of strategy content from here and some over at 2+2 although A LOT of content over there is from like 2006 so pretty meh ♦
results wise i've been losing a relatively standard amount at non-showdowns but my SD winnings have been next to break even for a long time which means i'm bleeding money. i realised that my turn play is terrible and i'm not planning my hands well. i'm also acting impulsively snapping off river bets left right and center assuming villain has bluffs when he obviously doesn't. SD fail fail fail ♦ aaand i noticed i've turned into a station whenever someone raises and i have a hand. so i have only myself to blame
about studying.. i have been reading 'The Mathematics of Poker' and have to say it is an awesome book. i really do suck at maths as i've said many times but i'm interested to get better at it ♦ other than that i've been discussing lots of poker/sweating with a couple people better than me and i'm thankful i have that opportunity.
