Why didn't you tell me that yesterday

I didn't mean to criticize your hand, on the contrary I really liked that hand, I was just curious what do you think about flatting OOP and x/shoving turn? I don't really like bluffing with 0 equity when the turn isn't helping us, but sometimes like this situation we may should do. But sometimes I mess up with flating like: 892r sb vs BB, he raises my bet IP, i flat with QJ and the turn is A, he checks back and probably he will have an Ax really often, so I did bet the river, but snapped with Ax... In this hand I was really mad by not 3betting the flop... so it's hard to decide in which situations which is better, because it happens rare ![]()

2. Yes, T86 might be another board we don't need a cbetting range on, although I would be more worried about giving free cards on that board with certain parts of my range (i.e. Tx, JJ).
yeah you're right... we can't really x/r with jacks and x/c is too dangerous, so totally agree, I think my plan works better in 3bet pots
thanks man!
Hi Oblioo
so tried to develop some ranges working with flopzilla and here is one that I struggle with:
KJT both rainbow and two tone.
Do we really want to have here like x/r range? I don't really want to x/r get it in TT here even JJ are close. Same for bluffing range my x/r as a bluff have reverse implied odds with almost all my gutshots and most of my outs when I have pair+fd also have reverse odds when I hit
if you want to c/c with hands like AJ/JQ maybe or weaker Kings u definitely should a x/r range. Don't think that TT/JJ is too thin. Usually villain doesn't flat TT+, so he just got his AQ-str8 kombos that beat us (maybe Q9s for another for kombos).
A lot of regs are likely to call stuff like KQ/JQ etc. cause of pair+OESD...
For x/raising range as you mentioned I'd look for some hands that make nuts. If you hit and still don't know whether you can valuebet just suxx a lot
K :spade:J :spade:T ![]()
On a board like this I'd include Ahxh hands in my x/r range (gutshot+BDFD)
If I got you right you talked about x/raising hands like 8h9h where hitting the Q just suxx.. I'd rather go for x/raise some low FD's 6s7s for example.

That option might be okay, but I agree that it's kind of gross to be bluffing with 0 equity on the turn, which will be most turns. That, plus the fact that we are OOP and villain can improve to a pair on the turn and just check back for showdown and possibly bluff-catch the river made me more inclined to just 4bet/6bet the flop.

This is a good question--this kind of board would probably depend more on how aggressive your opponent is, but TT seems like it should just be a value cbet, because you're right, we don't really want to be getting it in in most scenarios. And with bluffs, when we improve we probably don't get much action, or are drawing to chop pretty often. So just thinking about it now, I think I agree with you that we don't need a c/r range on this board; we can just be cbetting with all our strong hands and some bluffs. If villain bets a lot IP vs. missed cbets, that could change things, especially if he has a wide preflop range. alderfader's strategy seems decent as well, although I would tend to just keep TT in a cbetting range and the bottom of my c/r for value range would be JJ.
@ checking our whole rangwe on boards like AJ4r - i agree with this and do this already since a longer time for similar reasons like you do it.
I just wanna doublecheck what you do on AJ4s (board is 2-tone) and on AJ4m (monotone)?
I know what Im here doing, but wanna check out your view on this...
good vid btw^^
edit: min .32
Agree with everything, but imo you also can have KK+ in some % in your C/C-range there.
Your reasoning against this was that you are worrying that villain might checkback vulnerable hands, such as 77 - I think that most ppl would stab them OTF vs missed cbet for thin value and also to protect their hand....
