Im curious about your reaction.

See that all of these areas are areas where you are emotionally invested in some way. There are negative implied odds. With poker it is obvious, with studying it can be harder for us if we put a lot of work in and still fail, thats is harder on our ego. With family feelings are always involved and we often feel we should or should be a certain way, or they should or shouldn't be a certain way. Whatever it might be, look at the similarities here and realist that the "resistance" you feel is holding you back from doing the positive thing that you know will help you evolve. Use that feeling of resistance as a compass to what you need to work on.

Does that make sense? :)

This does make sense, although it is way easier said then done ofcourse. In order to figure it entirely out, I'm justing going to write everything down on paper the evry next time I expirience that type of feeling.

While watching your last vid, I figured I could better create a personal tilt profile, that could give me some insights.

I just made a tilt-check up just for fun + it is quite interesting:p It might look a but iffy, but I think it is sufficient :P For those interested:

I agree with Erik on the music part. Sorry for a bit late of an answer, was in Vienna and Bratislava and wasn't on my PC for more than 30minutes total.

As for your waking up problems, have I given you a link to this article yet? It could help you a lot with your problem :).

Hi. I think there is something wrong with the links you used, I can't see them, nor click on them :)

Ok, what you need is a structured plan on how to be able to both power yourself through the resistance and also start removing the resistance itself so you don't have to power through every time. Do you have any ideas or thoughts about this? I'd like to hear if you have any come off the top of your head...

I loved that tilt chart, super confusing to me but I really like that you map it out so you get a better overview and understanding of the puzzle. Anything that you cant really make sense of or that doesn't really fit, or any new ideas you might have. Don't hesitate to ask! :)

Hi Erik! Srry for my late reaction.

Do you have any ideas or thoughts about this? I'd like to hear if you have any come off the top of your head...

Mja maybe focus on the positive thoughts instead of negative patterns? I find myself lat couple days preparing my session correctly, playing my a-game for an hour, and then just slowy start tilting when everything does not work out as it supposed to.

This is basicly what happens in detail when I start a session while feeling ok.

Spoiler

1) I do my warming up, feeling pretty great, nothings wrong yet.
2) I start playing realy focussed, seeing +ev spots everywhere and start winning pretty nice amounts on non sd.
3) I start missing a lot of boards or start running into tops of ranges, start feeling exploted because every time i have air i get 3betted and everytime i have something everyone insta folds.
(this ofcourse is varrience, but lately it seems to come in massive waves. Just everything that possibly could go wrong, goes wrong. On the other hand, if it goes ok, everything seems to work.)
4) I start to get annoyed by spots/ certain players and start thinking; "Well he will ofcourse have aces here", villain shows aces, i lose yet again e.t.c.
5) This continues for a while, I'm losing steadily and dropping on non sd since i just don't win any hand.
6) At some moment I realise that I'm on soft tilt and decide to shut down the tables. I notice soft tilt way earlier, but can't cope with it somehow. I know that negative thoiughts are indicators, but i cant inmediately shut down my entire sessions somehow.
7) The fact that I realise that i have tilted yet again makes me a bit moody and reflects in other aspects of life.

I would love to have some sort of plan for the occasions that this tilt occurs. How do I create such a constructed plan, you are reffering to? How can i use the resistance (boredom, frustration) in my own intrest?

Currently I figured I could try to play only my a-game and remove all my volume targets. I will try to cap my sessions on 500 hands, than go sit out and do my warm up again. If I feel capable, i continue. If not, i quite. I will try to not put any focus on thoughts like; "Look how fishy this table is, you can't leave now!". The only thing I will focus on is my mental awareness. I think i might prevent tilt this way.
Sounds like a plan? :)
