its against Pokerstrategy TOS to disucuss such things, not involving PS offers.

So I played my first 2 sessions of 5nl Speed Poker on my new account and got a couple of bad beats along with some lucky hands so standard stuff really. Trying to maintain the aggression, but was being played back against a lot tonight which kept things down and I had to let some marginal hands go.

I also played the 2nd session on 4 tables, not sure I will do that again in a hurry.

I started thinking about a simple colour system to mark players. I have thought about what I need to know primarily and that comes down to how the person plays. I don't care if he wins or loses as much as if he plays tight, loose, aggressive or passive post flop etc.

I think BTN raising someone who resteals a lot is a bad idea, so marking that player is essential to keep me stealing profitably. I can look at the colour and 'steal' with a monster v the guy and make sure I leave the bottom of my range alone.

To that end I have come up with a colour scheme and some 1 word labels for the players, I am refining these:

NIT: Folds a lot, only plays good hands and folds on poor flops.
MANIAC: plays loads of hands, raising at will, normally large bets and cbets 100% or close to.
REG: Must be a good player, TAG with skills lets say.
BOT: Some will argue, but they are there, easy to exploit though
FISH: Poor starting hands and worse post flop play, often paying off with 2nd pair etc.

I may add to these, but for now the quick reference will alert me to their basic tendencies.

Does your HUD work on speed poker? I think for me it is stuck in 'waiting for hands' forever. Auto import is working though, it's just the HUD not showing.

I do not have a HUD that works, I use HEM1.

Not sure Speed Poker is supported.

You have to make your iPoker client run as admin in order for you to have a working hud.

Go to the folder where the original iPoker client is. Then rightclick on the icon. choose properties (iirc then settings if not that something just look around the tabls and whatnot can't remember now as am at work and cannot check) and from there you have to choose run as admin. After that it should work on HM2
